Exclusive villa in binibeca with private pool

Absolutely fantastic place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it will be the first place we look for if we come back to Menorca.

Part of me wants to keep this villa secret and not tell anyone! It was wonderful from start to finish, a gorgeous location in the trees, lovely pool, great facilities. Lovely clean, new bathrooms and equipped with all you’d need for a stay. I would recommend a car, as it’s a little far to walk from the main areas, but this meant it was quiet and peaceful. Thanks Laura for looking after us so well.

Villa Marmirada is in a quiet area just outside Binibequer. A lot of roads and infrastructure have been put in but not many villas have been built. So the villa enjoys a secluded setting, surrounded by trees and not overlooked by any other properties. There is hardly any traffic or pedestrians on the road outside. You will most likely have to drive to get anywhere unless you like a good walk, the nearest shops, bars and beach are about a mile away. But we loved the villa so much we didn't venture out much. Laura (who co-owns the villa with her sister Barbara) met us at the property and gave us a guided tour and explained all the facilities. She was very friendly and kind to us and went out of her way to help us when we left something behind on our last day. The villa itself is built in a traditional style, but is modern, clean and well maintained. The rooms are all spacious and beds are comfy, the kitchen is well equipped. The veranda has a table and BBQ area which is sheltered from the sun and makes a cool retreat in the hottest part of the day. The pool and garden areas are lovely. The pool has a motorised cover which you can close at night time to keep it warm and plenty of space around it for sunbathing. The outside shower has hot and cold water to it, which is a nice plus to avoid the shock of ice cold water. The garden is quite large and has some lovely trees planted and a gazebo to use as an alternative to the veranda. There are wild tortoises and lizards wandering around the garden, which we found a delight to watch their antics. My only very minor criticism would be that there is a little bit of airplane noise, but it is infrequent and only a distant rumble, so not really a nuisance unless you are very fussy. In summary, this is a perfect place if you like privacy, tranquility, relaxation and a slow pace of life...which we do very much!
