Trullo del Castaldo, is a real XVIII century trullo, with above ground pool, surrounded by a green park, situated in the suggestive “Itria valley” of Apulia. It's ideal for families seeking relax.
Trullo del Castaldo has 4 bedrooms with a double bed, (in 3 of which there is also a single bed), 2 bathrooms, en suite bathroom, a terrace with a stone table for 11 seats under gazebo and barbecue.
Trullo del Castaldo was built with local stone; walls are deep over 3 meters, so inside the temperature is naturally cool without air conditioning. You can sleep well and relax.
Outside the Trullo, in the garden, there is a large stone table with stone benches for 11 seats under gazebo, where you can make breakfast or dinner.

We stayed in the Trullo on the 2 guests part (i.e. small part). At first the equipment looked simple and a couple of tools could be added in the kitchen, but soon realized that nothing we couldn't cope with was missing. The outdoor equipment can do with some refreshment.
The other part of the Trullo, for more guests actually looks more attractive.
Enough for the bad sides, the location is great, near the quiet and lovely town of Locorotondo and its charming narrow streets and restaurants. We could also enjoy the visit to local wine producers.
The property offers a large garden with many fruit trees where you can pick your nectarines, figues, grapes and others for your desserts or just snack. Being inside the Trullos brings a good rustic and warm feeling.
Very good size swimming pool surrounded by sunbeds, and other benches or hammock that offer more places to relax.
We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Bonne location toutefois notre logement est donné pour 3 personnes alors qu'il n'y a qu'un lit et vraiment pas la place d'en mettre un autre. La chambre et la cuisine ne sont pas au même endroit ( il faut sortir dehors e monter des marches pour aller dans la cuisine. Des photos du 2ème gite sont mélangées à notre annonce.

Ce logement est très bien placé pour visiter le sud des pouilles, riche en visites. Locorotondo est une petite ville très agréable qu'il faut absolument visiter. Toute la campagne est parsemée de Trulli ce qui donne une ambiance particulière. Très bel accueil par Paolo et Angela et les photos reflètent parfaitement les lieux. La literie est confortable et la propreté irréprochable. Nous avons apprécié le calme de la campagne et n'avons pas du tout était gêné par le logement contigu au notre. Nous avons déjà signalé à nos hôtes de mettre des serviettes de toilette un peu plus grande et dans la cuisine de mettre des verres à pied pour au moins 10 personnes. Nous avons respecté le tri des ordures comme demandé par Angela et particulièrement le compost. Nous avons pu dégusté les fruits du jardin comme indiqué dans l'annonce. Nous recommandons ce logement.

Leider sind es in keinem Fall die ausgeschriebenen 60 m2 und es war auch im Vorfeld nicht ersichtlich, dass die beiden Räume Küche und Schlafzimmer nicht zusammenhängen, man muss über den Hof nach draußen und dann Treppen hoch um in die Küche zu kommen. Wohnküche bedeutet: Küchenzeile ca. 1 ,20 breit sowie Steinbank an der Wand, ein Tisch und 2 Stühle sowie ein kleiner Geschirrschrank.Der Vermieter war freundlich, es war soweit sauber, und der Pool und der Garten sowie Außenbereich sind schön. Grill ist auch da.Leider mussten aber 2 von drei Personen komplett aus dem Koffer leben, es gibt nur eine kleine Nische in der Wand mit einer Stange und 2 kleine Nachtkästchen. Das war wirklich mühsam. Der Vermieter tauchte nur kurz nochmals am Samstag nach dem Check in auf, als ich die Frau ansprechen wollte auf die zu wenigen Quadratmeter da verabschiedete sie sich schnell und sagte See you later. Sie bringe jetzt den Müll weg. Danach kam keiner mehr.
Schade, im Prinzip wirklich nett dort, aber für drei Personen für 2 Wochen zu klein. Maximal 30 Quadratmeter.Die Ausschreibung ist inkorrekt. Von mehr als 50 Bildern wird das andere, wirklich große Appartment gezeigt.
