About this apartment rental

Number Seven is a bright welcoming two bedroom apartment with its own patio garden, ideally situated on the edge of the Leeds and Liverpool canal. Within easy reach of the picturesque town of Skipton, it is perfectly placed for a quiet retreat, with plenty of local amenities, and only a stone’s throw from the stunning scenery of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

With a modern and fresh interior, you enter through into a large open plan living, kitchen and dining space. In the living area there is a comfortable seating area with flat screen television and coffee table, an ideal space for relaxing after a day of exploring the local area.

The kitchen is very well equipped, offering full oven and hob, fridge and freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a breakfast bar with stools, great for socialising whilst dinner is cooking!
The smart dining table and chairs provide space to dine for four, and are accompanied by a chic blue dresser, a beautiful feature, and a real focal point for the room.

Beyond the living space are doors that lead directly out onto the canal-side garden, perfect for relaxing and enjoying your morning coffee as the narrow-boats go by.

The bedrooms are generously sized and beautifully dressed, with the master offering a double bed and the second offering two full size singles. The family size bathroom includes a bath with shower over, large basin and close-coupled WC.

There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer provided for use if needed, and there is one allocated private car parking space available.

With the town of Skipton being only a short level walk away, plenty of facilities are available close by. There you will find shops, tea-rooms, pubs and more, including the opportunity to visit Skipton Castle dating from mediaeval times, and a stroll through Aireville Park, a beautifully kept public garden.

Skipton Golf Club is only 2 miles away, just on the other side of town, and in under a 10 minute drive is the heritage attraction of the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway.

If the country air is what you seek, go north into the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and discover the stunning scenery of waterfalls, peaks, caves, and gorges.

Very lovely holiday appartment. It has all the amenities one could wish for. We had an absolute great stay here. If anything, then the couches could be a bit more comfortable.

No 7 is a very well appointed apartment in an excellent location in Skipton. The canal frontage provides views of the passing narrowboats and a short walk along the canal footpath quickly gets you into the town centre. The apartment is comfortable with modern facilities and comfortable seating and beds. We have used this apartment several times and can highly recommend it.

The apartment was very easy to find and semi-easy to get in once I had worked out how to open the key safe (instructions for this might be helpful and also that there are three gates into car park, initally we on ly saw 2). We did have issues opening the door from the canal into the lobby but another resident did let us through. The key would just not turn to open the lock. Every other time though the door had been left open. Presently I have knee issues and my one real big criticismmis getting in and out of the bath to shower. A couple of grab rails here would have been helped enormously. My poor husband had to support me. Initally we were disappointed not to see any passing canal boatslocal wildlife but this does depend on which direction the boats face as to which way they sail. Overall it is a great location with a lovely walk up into Skipton. lovely and clean, well kitted out and the owners/management company do not respond to any comments quickly.

Location was fabulous Towels could be larger and softer as they were quite small and were quite rough/hard. Queen size bed would be better in main bedroom. Double is too small and the cover was too small for the size of the bed.

Space, cleanliness and well eqipped I could turn the key in lobby door however found it impossible to open and one of the neighbours told me it is very difficult and one of the residents isn’t able to open it either. This meant carrying my bags round the building to access the apartment. I was then reluctant to use the secure car park as didn’t want to get locked into it so left my car in a visitor space for my stay

The apartment was nice and warm with plenty of seating and a dinner table. The kitchen was also very well equipped with lots of plates and utensils, Dolce gusto coffee machine was a bonus. The Bathroom was a little small but perfectly fine for the 2 of us, plus there was the luxury of having a bath, Good location within easy walking distance to the centre of Skipton along the towpath. Plus there are lots of good quality places to eat in Skipton. We will definitely be back. Bigger towels would have been nicer.
