About this villa rental
Achilleion Forest Villa is a luxury holiday property nestling in a private virgin olive grove. The villa is close to Achilleion Palace (2.2 km), with a large private infinity pool (10.5 x 5 m), exceptional terraces, modern settings, and spacious interiors. Achilleion Forest Villa is just a 10-minute drive from Corfu Airport.
The villa is a hacienda type house, split between the central estate and a self-contained cottage, turned into a separate primary bedroom suite, with a lovely kitchen and a shaded terrace looking onto the pool area.
Layout
The main villa consists of a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room with a spacious corner suite, guests WC, and a wooden deck front terrace overlooking the garden and the sunny pool.
At the back of this open-plan space, a hall leads into three air-conditioned bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room. The two of them are double, and the third is a twin. In addition, a utility room with a washing machine lies between them.
Pool and Terraces
The sunny private pool (10.5 x 5 m) is at the front of the villa, with spacious terraces and sheltered by forest trees on one side. It features the necessary umbrellas and chairs for sunbathing or extra relaxation under the cheerful chirping of the numerous local birds.
An easily accessed built BBQ is available at the back of the villa, with an adjacent small kitchen, fridge, working the counter for anyone who would wish to become the chef of the evening and surprise the rest of the party with his cooking skills.

Excellent house, 4 sleeping rooms all containing a separate bathroom. Big fridge to keep beer cold. Swimming pool is very well maintained (with poolmanager passing by every 2 days). Good working cool airconditioning everywhere. Bit of an odd place to put the dishwasher, but that's the only negative point we could find.

We had a very nice stay at the house and everybody was pleased. The house and rooms are nice and everything is big enough to accomodate groups up to eight people. We found a clean and tidy house with nothing to complain about. We really enjoyed the opportunity to have a barbecue and the big fridges are very useful.
The garden around the house is very big and gives you a feeling of being alone. Although the street is not far away and you will hear the traffic sometimes. But it's not bothersome. A supermarket is only five minutes away to walk or 1 minute by car.
If I had to complain about something: The dishwasher (which is always nice to have) is installed a bit odd. You can't open it fully so loading is a bit difficult. A bigger isue was the lack of proper cookware. You don't have much choice and everything is a bit on the cheap side. Cooking for 8 people was not much fun. Also there is not much cutlery. After you had one meal, everythin is used and you have no spares. In a house of this size I would expect a litte more then 8 forks, knives and spoons.
As you can see, the complaints are very minor. Besides that, everything was very nice and I would recommend a vist.
