About this cottage rental
Charming traditional Canarian country house in the heart of Masca. It features two bedrooms with double beds, both offering a beautiful view of the mountains. The house has two bathrooms, one with a lovely bathtub and the other with a shower. It also has air conditioning, a fireplace, a washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table, and a very comfortable sofa.
The property features a furnished terrace, a barbecue, and gardens. If you’re a nature lover, enjoy hiking, or simply want to relax, this is the ideal spot.
We also have everything you need for babies (cribs, high chairs, plastic plates and utensils, etc.)
The village of Masca is a quiet town located in the northwest of the island, within the Teno Rural Park. This picturesque village stands out for the beauty of its natural landscapes and its typical Tenerife architecture, featuring small houses with stone walls and wooden roofs. Masca is also known for its countless hiking trails; the most famous is the Barranco de Masca. This roughly seven-hour hike starts in the village, descends to the beach, and ends back in the village—the views of the Atlantic Ocean make it truly unique. If you’re interested, let me know—I can arrange it for you and get tickets for the weekend of your stay.
There are also several restaurants where you can sample traditional Canarian cuisine and local wine while enjoying breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea. Another point of interest is the Masca Ethnographic Museum, located just a few meters from the house. Masca is the perfect place to connect with nature, go hiking, sample traditional cuisine, and relax.

The property is just as the pictures indicate. A quiet and relaxing place to stay. The one concern I would raise is parking. While the area where the house is located is very quiet the other part of the village is filled with tourists all day long. While we were there the moment we left our parking space it was taken immediately. We made sure we didn’t return to the village till late afternoon when we could again find a parking spot.

Spectacular mountain countryside, beautiful village setting and comfortable hillside villa. Masca is for customers who enjoy country walks, of which some can be challenging, climbing up and down rocky hills. Be warned, the most well known path from the village to the coast is permitted on only a few days each week, is popular and must be booked in advance. Hard hats are provided at the tourist information centre for this walk in order to ensure safety! Great hill top restaurants and cafes in village. The house is perfectly located and has everything you need for your stay. We Had a great time

La maison est très bien équipée, très agréable à vivre.
Mais ce que nous avons préféré se sont les extérieurs et la vue exceptionnelle !
Le café du matin en face de la montagne, que de bons souvenirs.
Nous quittons la maison un petit pincement au cœur.

Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und bietet phantastische Ausblicke in die Schlucht. Kurvig-enge Straßen und Ruhe sollte man zu schätzen wissen ( Restaurants in der Regel bis 18 Uhr geöffnet).
