Nestled on the Eastern shores of Windermere, equidistance from the top and the bottom of the lake. In terms of location, it doesn’t get much better.

Split over three floors this modern property offers the perfect space to relax and make everlasting memories. The second floor is home to three well-presented bedrooms, two boasting kingsize beds with built-in wardrobes, and offering pleasant views. The third bedroom has a full-size single bed, with a pull-out bed underneath, it can be used by an adult but probably more suited to a child. The family bathroom is contemporary, with a shower over the bath and heated towel rail. The first floor, which actually opens to the ground level at the rear is all open plan, offering a plenty of easy seating to relax after a day on the fells, and a well-equipped kitchen ideal for a hearty breakfast, complete with fridge and dishwasher. An additional fridge freezer is provided in garage. A doorway at the rear leads directly onto an enclosed patio area which is south facing and is perfect for that morning coffee and a bit of fresh Cumbrian air. The ground floor features a utility room with washing machine and dryer, as well as parking and a garage which can be used to store bikes or kayaks.

The property is located in the popular Storrs Park area, just outside the hustle and bustle of Bowness-on-Windermere. You are situated close enough to easily access the tourist village with its array of facilities, attractions, bars and restaurants. Lake Windermere and the Steamers are a short drive or walk away, and you are able to access the main routes to explore further afield. To the north is Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere. To the south Newby Bridge and lakeside with The Aquarium of The lakes and The Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway. Or you can take the car ferry over to Hawkshead and Coniston. With all of this at your fingertips, you’ll have a holiday to remember at Bowness Retreat. Beach 13 miles.
