New condition, well equipped house with lots of room. We enjoyed our visit with old friends. Only negative is that it’s about 5 miles to the nearest grocery.

Very comfortable three level house with lots of room. It is well equipped and in great condition. We enjoyed time with friends. The only downside is that it’s a little far from grocery stores in Mount Vernon.

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, perfect. We had 6 grandkids with us and the play room was their favorite place, I have never rented a vacation home that had kids in mind and this one DID!! They had absolutely everything you needed from cooking to bathing and even laundry ( even though we took our own) Mark the owner was very sweet and if I had questions prior, during and even after we left he was prompt to answer. I would definitely love to stay here again and recommend to everyone I know going to that area.

The home is spacious and the back windows are beautiful.
Be prepared for the hosts to be watching you at any time of day and sending messages via their management company if they see things they disapprove of. You can only receive contact from a management company and not the hosts.
The side door does not lock and is broken, even though they provide multiple copies of the same instructions to lock it. Just be aware that anyone could get in very easily.
The home alarm system frequently requests input of information but there are no instructions on what to do with it.
There were cobwebs and dust throughout the home.
The downstairs living area is very cold and the fireplace did not work. The downstairs bedrooms were very warm with no windows.
The main level bathroom door locks do not actually work, and the shower leaks onto the floor. There is only enough hot water for one shower as well.
And definitely bring your own tissues.
It was a bit of a rough stay.
