About this house rental

Summary:
This quaint and charming home is located in a peaceful area of Sanger Heights. The 3 bedrooms boast comfy tuft & needle mattresses for you to enjoy a good nights rest. Cook up your best meal in the fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the living room with farmhouse vibe decor. This home is equipped with fast wifi and private parking. It also has a very nice large back lawn to enjoy the outdoors!

The Space:
Sleeps 6 people. Each of the 3 bedrooms has super-comfy Tuft & Needle mattresses and the master suite has an attached full bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator along with pots, cooking utensils and dishes for cooking up gourmet meals while you're in town. Large washer/dryer set will take care of your laundry. And the dining table seats 6! Off-street parking makes sure you don't ever have to fight for a parking spot. :-)

Sanger-Heights is one of Waco's oldest neighborhoods, and remains one of the most diverse and attractive locations in the city. From the tree-lined, historic Colcord Avenue to the award-winning "Street of Dreams" on 15th street, something exciting is definitely happening in Sanger-Heights these days. Go for a jog around Seley Park, grab a burger at the World Cup Cafe - voted Waco's best new restaurant (right on our boundary), or browse one-of-a-kind antiques at Show & Tell; there is something for everyone here in this unique urban village.

Getting Around:
It is within a few minuets of downtown Waco, but Uber and Lyft are also both available.

Very nice and comfortable. I liked that I could park my car near the back of the house where it was mostly out of sight. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. There were only two of us on my visit, but a large family could easily stay here and not feel crowded.As my daughter is just starting Baylor, I will likely book this place again when I come to visit over the upcoming years.

Waco was a half way city for us and our other family. We knew we wanted to see a few things Magnolia, but most importantly to spend precious time together as a family.The home was perfect for our weekend. It gave us the space and comfort to visit and see Waco.VillaStay was one of the best groups I've dealt with when staying in a VRBO home. They were very attentive & informative. What a wonderful cottage to stay in. Everything was perfect and even better than the listing photos. This is a must stay in cottage especially if you are coming to Waco for Magnolia/aThe Silos. Beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen well appointed, and pleasant gathering spaces for coffee conversation and dining. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Ethel Rose for our girls trip for four days. The house was so cute. The beds were so comfortable and they even had extra toiletries for us in case we forgot anything! Devorah checked in on us and asked if we needed anything, which we appreciated tremendously! We would definitely stay here again!

This charming house is exactly as pictured and the interior is large and so comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with multiple counter top appliances and a lovely Keurig Coffee Bar. The lighting is numerous and inviting. The home was staged for our arrival with softly lit bedrooms and living room accessorized with all things Magnolia. We felt special and welcomed. The mattresses are all supremely comfortable and the bedding soft and inviting. We loved our brief stay and will definitely return next time our friends and family wan to visit Waco.

This place is so much bigger than I thought it would be! It was furnished so nicely with cozy places to enjoy and close to a lot of things in Waco. Loved our stay! Met up with high school friend for a quick Christmas shopping trip. House was perfect and cozy. Loved the decorations. So close to everything! Ate at Milo and Ninfas and shopped at Spice Village. Wonderful time.

My college aged daughter had a fall break long weekend. My best friend and her 2 adult daughters (29 &’26 years old) joined us for this Friday-Monday getaway. This “Ethel Rose” beautiful home is 1 1/2 hours from the Austin airport but 5 minutes from the Magnolia Silos, bakery, and other Fixer Upper attractions. It is also only 2 miles from Cameron Park, which had a large number of hiking trails from easy (green circle) to very difficult (double black diamonds). We shared meals, played card games, and did 1,000 piece puzzle when we weren’t touring/shopping. There’s even a great swing hanging from a tree in the backyard.

This property is described as a cottage but wow, it has so much space! Magazine-worthy decor, comfortable beds and within minutes of anything you want to see in downtown Waco. We were in Waco for a volleyball camp for our daughter at Baylor. The home was plenty of space, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The management company was very responsive to any issues that we had, and it was located so close to Magnolia Silos and Baylor. It was a wonderful home.

This home is as cozy as it is stunning. There is great attention to detail at every turn and just walking in you feel like you are at home. In addition, the quick, professional, and helpful responses and prompts from the hosts make it almost a full concierge experience. This house is adorable and is exactly as photographed. We had a couple of issues that made us question if the house was properly cleaned, which is disappointing during times like these with COVID protocols. We requested a partial refund of the cleaning fee, which was ignored, even after providing photos. Beds were comfy, so was living room, and kitchen had nice stock of coffee and creamer. They are in the better part of a sketchy neighborhood, we would not have felt comfortable taking a morning walk, but it was fine for one night.
