"We enjoyed our stay. My favorite part of the house was the porch. It rained a lot while we were there and it was covered and a great place to have a coffee and listen to the rain. Very private. Beds..."

While the road to get to the house is a bit twisted and not well lit at night, the house itself is lovely. Very clean and lots of room. Six plus people could very comfortably stay here and not feel like they were on top of one another. The front deck is very nice for sitting outside with your morning cup of coffee. The kitchen has pretty much all you need to store or prepare whatever food you bring. And a nice sized dining table for family meals. The bedrooms are very nice as well. We only slept in the master bedroom and the mattress was firm but very comfortable. And everything you may want to get to is only a short drive, even though you feel like you’re away from it all. Take note that the small path through the front yard has a lot of poison ivy so best to keep kids and pets away from that area. We would highly recommend this home. And the host was great to work with.

The kids loved the house, very easy check-in/check-out process, and easy access to sights around Asheville. Recommended!

Stayed over the Holiday Break with our family of 4 and dog. Check in was a little confusing-done through a 3rd party application called "whetherby" or something like that... Never seen or heard of it before. Here are the 'good things:' -Inside and driveway were as pictured on posting. -Clean and spacious. -A couple nice local pieces of art in the living room upstairs.-Kitchen was fully stocked and had everything needed for cooking in. -Lots of extra bedding supplies.-Great neighborhoodThe 'not so good things:' -Simple window blinds and no curtains/window treatments throughout the home. -Other than living room pieces, no wall art/decor throughout.-Back and side yard needs to be cleared out and updated with removal leaves/debris/etc to be usable. -Host was responsive via phone to get into the home upon arrival and to Hot Water Heater not working as he came out quickly to remedy the gas light. The 'BAD things:'- Beds are SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE. To say they are firm is understatement. They are some form of a memory foam mattress... however they are way too cheap, firm and uncomfortable.-The water heater was not working when we arrived so cold showers the first night and when it did work only 2 people could shower and then we would have to wait for tank water to re-heat. Communicated this to host and never heard back. We actually left a day early so we could get back home to comfy beds and hot showers :( Wish we didn't have to write this since we love Asheville.
