About this house rental
Gorgeous 4 bedroom + entertainment room, 3 bathroom townhome located right next to the Sierra Star golf course and minutes from the ski lifts. (PLEASE NOTE THIS COMPLEX WITH HAVE ALL ITS CONCRETE DRIVEWAYS AND PAVERS REPLACED AFTER LABOR WEEKEND, THIS WILL TAKE ROUGHLY 4 WEEKS) This spacious townhouse offers expansive living space across the 3 level home, including a beautiful entertainment movie room, plus outdoor dining area with gas grill on the upper covered terrace. (Please note: this home does not have a private hot tub accessible) The living area with gas fireplace and comfortable sectional becomes the great room of the home for family gatherings to watch the flatscreen TV or play some traditional board games that are stocked. The fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, gas range, all kitchen amenities you will need to prepare meals, and a dining area with seating for 8, with an additional 3 at the kitchen bar, allows you to host all of the family. The master suite upstairs on the 3rd level boasts a King bed, private en-suite bathroom with double vanity, walk-in shower wet room and soaking tub, and walk-in closet and flatscreen TV. The second and third bedrooms on the main living area are perfect guest bedrooms both featuring a Queen bed, with a shared hall full bathroom with walk-in shower. The fourth bedroom is perfect for the kids on the lower level with a bunk bed with Twin on top, Double on the bottom. The entertainment movie room even has a Queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping, or use this room to relax and enjoy the 70" big screen, or use the home office to remote work or school if needed while vacationing. It can be great for kids and adults too! Enjoy all the comforts of home with a private washer/dryer, free wireless internet, and a private 2 car garage (garage clearance 7' 7"). The Woodwinds community is located nestled in the forest surrounding the Sierra Star Golf Course, but just a short drive to Eagle Lodge or the Village. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This condo sleeps a maximum of 11 people, one dog is permitted (additional pets on approval only) and no smoking in and around the property is permitted. There are approximately 10 steps to the front door access of the unit and there are 3 levels inside. Two additional vehicles can fit in the driveway. Our calendar is updated in real time. Please Note: This property makes use of surveillance equipment outside the home. Cameras are located on the back deck, and in front of the garage, and in the front of the front door. The home itself was good. Most of the home was well furnished and easy to use. A few things were lacking, such as functionality in the primary bath, but overall it was comfortable. The primary bed and bedding were worn out, but the other guests did not have the same feedback in the other bedrooms. There were issues with the management of the home starting with check-in instructions being sent less than 24 hours in advance. We had to pick up physical keys from an office where dozens of other envelopes with full keys, names, and addresses were in the same lock box. It felt very unsafe that anyone knew where we were staying, could have grabbed a key, and we wouldn't know. It is so easy for every property to have a key code on the door, I don't understand why this is still an issue. We arrived at the property to an unplowed driveway that we were unable to park in. The property did not have any snow shovels and maintenance was unreachable. During our stay in the home I emailed management with a list of other issues and never got a response. This is a nice home, but the management is severely lacking. I wouldn't rent this home again for this sole issue.
