Slopeside C101 provides a wonderful opportunity to stay slope side! This recently renovated two-bedroom condominium offers all the comforts of home. Enjoy WIFI, smart TV's, a well-equipped kitchen, heated floors in the living room and kitchen, and even a gas fireplace! In winter it is a super short walk to the lifts and the lodge at Timberline Mountain. Ski all weekend and never move the car…awesome! In spring, summer and fall Slopeside C101 provides very affordable lodging and easy access to all things Canaan Valley. Easy check in process in very convenient location (just past turn off to the mountain). The unit completely renovated/updated with glorious heated floors and a brand new bathroom. It's literally steps to the mountain/lodge (basically one of the closest possible buildings and units). We would have loved the unit even more if: 1) there were hangers in the closets (management kindly dropped off hangers for us within an hour of my calling, but the owner does not have any hangers!) and 2) a place to store skis. There was also no fireplace instructions and so we never figured out how to turn on the gas fireplace. However, it was overall a good experience with Best of Canaan and the comfort of the renovated unit and we'd rent it again (but please add a couple of dozen hangers!!).

We had a great stay and loved the updated look to the place. Perfect location which made skiing with young kids so easy. There was a problem with the gas fireplace and main tv but they sent someone right away and got it fixed for us.

Location is absolutely perfect, you are steps from the lodge and lifts. C101 unit is updated, the heated floors are very nice. I would say this unit is perfect if you are coming for day or two, spending all your time skiing. The negatives: the noise from the above unit is awful. Kitchen is super tiny and not really equipped for cooking. You need more plates, a cutting board, a better toaster, a crockpot, more dishes if you want to market this for families. The dining area is not existing as the table is way too big. There is also no space to put ski equipment, no hooks, no baskets. Closets have not hangers.
