George, the owner, was extremely kind and helpful. He recommended a great taverna nearby, and there are supermarkets and several tavernas within walking distance. The beach is also very easy to reach on foot. There are two access routes, and one is much easier with less uphill walking. The view from the apartment is exceptional. We had a wonderful stay. The bathroom is new and very comfortable, and having a washing machine was extremely useful, especially for a longer stay.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the area is hilly, but there are two ways to reach the property and one has much less uphill walking/driving

We had amazing stay, owner is amazing guy, greeted us on airport. Apartment has almost everything you need for 10 days of staying. There is nice balcony with sea view. The area have good supermarkets and restaurants, you arrive to chania center with 10min with bus.
It's steep from both ends if you want to go to beach and when you go to the city you always come back to the steep hill which is luckily not that long.
