About this house rental
THE SHACK AT HARDWICKE is a 3 bedroom holiday house that accommodates up to 6 guests, recently refurbished with a short walk to the beach and close to the local playground.
Open plan kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave freestanding electric stove & Delongi Nespresso coffee machine, dining, lounge area with TV, DVD with small assortment of dvd's, Bluray player, Sony personal audio system, Wii console with small assortment of games, 2 Wii controllers, 2 Wii nunchuks , assortment of board games. Split system reverse cycle air-conditioner.

Main bedroom with built in robe, bathroom with vanity, hair dryer, step into shower, w/c. Laundry with front loading washing machine (BYO powder).
Rear undercover deck with outdoor setting, hammock, large rear yard with flat top BBQ.
Plenty of room for parking and the boat.
Bed configuration - bed 1 - queen, bed 2 - queen, bed 3 - 2 singles.
Pillows and quilts are provided, you will need to bring your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels.

Overall the property was very clean and modern. Was pleasantly surprised with the home comforts. Being summer in South Australia the only fault was the air conditioning, only one small split system in the living area and small fans in the bedrooms. Curtains or awnings on the outside might have helped with keeping the house cooler. Overall a great stay.

Was a nicely renovated place with pretty much all you needed. Although didn’t have a lock on the bathroom which was inconvenient. The enclosed fence was great with a family. Management were quick to respond to queries. Was a little back from the beach but not too much and was close to playground and bike pump track.

Big enough back yard for kids/entertainment. Accomodates for family of x5, possibly even x6 people. Main bedroom mattress is for those that like a firm/hard bed.
Local beach has too nuch seaweed & no waves.
It's a shame to not be told about having to bring EVERYTHING (pillows, linen, towels, kitchen and handtowels, bath mat, toilet paper, cooking utensils) at time of booking, but infact told only days beforehand.
Balls of fluff/dust were evident upon checking in.
We didnt like having to clean everything (shower, toilet....Everything) and put everything back to how the home was.
Vaccuum cleaner doesnt work properly, due to poor suction.
