About this chalet rental
Just an hour from Montreal, Le Distingué is a sublime contemporary chalet with three bedrooms on two floors. It stands out with its large windows and majestic architecture. The property is located on the banks of the Assomption River in the beautiful region of Lanaudière.
During your stay, you can admire a magnificent view of the mountains and the lake in addition to enjoying all the amenities offered.

The cottage can comfortably accommodate 10 people.
It has three bedrooms on the garden level, including 2 bedrooms with a queen bed each and a bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed (double and single).
The spacious kitchen with island will allow you to cook delicious meals in good company.
For your entertainment, you have access to satellite television, a bluetooth sound bar to connect your favorite music, WIFI, indoor fireplace and a foosball table.
A peaceful outdoor space has been set up for your comfort. You will find a 4-season spa and a relaxing fireplace.
You will have at your disposal during the summer season: 2 kayaks for adults and 1 kayak for a kid.

Parking available on the main street at the top of the slope. Do not drive your car down the slope when the road is icy or snowy even with a 4x4 or AWD. We will not be responsible for cars stuck at the bottom of the slope. If so, you will need to hire a towing service.
To get to the chalet, there is a steep slope that you have to walk down. It is not accessible to people with reduced mobility or anyone with physical difficulties or limitations.
The internet offered to you is an LTE cellular connection, it is not 100% reliable. It allows you for example to check emails or any other activity of the kind, it is not stable for videoconferences.
Please note that we do not give any guarantee on operation, cleanliness or technical support for the BBQ from November to April (there is no maintenance performed during this period).
Please note that we supply propane only between the months of May to October.
The indoor gas fireplace is unavailable from May to September due to a lack of maintenance during this period. It is in service from early October to the end of April. If you would like to use it outside these dates, please feel free to request it, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Please note that during the winter period (November to April), we do not guarantee access to or operation of the outdoor fireplace due to weather conditions that are beyond our control. However, you will have access to a shovel if you ever want to clean the site and use the fireplace. Thank you for your understanding.
We provide one bath towel per person. Extra towels, spa or beach towels are not provided.
Please note that this is a river near the chalet, we strongly suggest that you pay attention to the intensity of the current before venturing there.
To facilitate your travels during the winter season, we suggest that you bring a sled with you to carry your luggage and descend the slope more easily.

Superbe chalet, bien situé et excellente communication avec la propriétaire.
Le seul bémol est la connexion internet inexistante. Impossible d’avoir le wifi.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits à la Distinction en famille et c'était absolument fabuleux! L'emplacement est parfait, le chalet est moderne et nous n'avions pas à nous casser la tête car nous avions tout à porter de la main. La région de St-Alphonse-de-Rodriguez offrait des activités plein air pour l'hiver, mais même si nous étions restés au chalet, nous ne manquions pas d'activités. Les gestionnaires du chalet répondaient très rapidement aux questions (15 minutes MAX). Le chalet était très propre, le confort absolu et nous avions plein de serviettes. À refaire en été absolument!!!

Loved the set up of this chalet, it was more like staying at a hotel rather then someone's home. No clutter and clean, crisp lines enhanced the natural beauty of the chalet and surroundings.
They had cans of pop in the bar fridge, and Kuerig pods for purchase. Thankful for some basic supplies available to us - olive oil, salt, pepper, laundry detergent, paper towel and toilet paper. Also loved the soup in the freezer available to purchase for a quick meal.
The kids enjoyed sledding on the side slope, and the foosball table. Highly recommend snow tubing in Saint-Jean-de-Matha, even the drive there is gorgeous. It was our first time in this region of Quebec and will definitely be back.
