About this house rental

Summary:
This contemporary house in east Austin has ample space for entertaining in the open kitchen, private back and front yards, and rooftop deck. Dedicated office space with a monitor and printer have you covered for business trips. UT stadium, as well as an excellent selection of restaurants and bars on east 6th St, are within walking distance. Access to Lady Bird Lake is a bike or scooter ride away.

The Space:
Please note, all guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement.

The entire home is yours during your stay. On the first floor, an open floor plan uniting the living and dining areas is ideal for entertaining and looks out on the large backyard through a full wall of sliding glass doors with remote-controlled light filtering blinds. Enjoy Netflix bingeing on the smart tv, or catch friends and family up on all your quarantine stories while cooking meals in the well-appointed kitchen. The artwork in the dining room was created by the homeowner! Also included on the first floor you will find a fully dedicated office space with a monitor and printer, a well-stocked laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a half-bath.

The kitchen features a 5 burner gas range, wine fridge, LG refrigerator with 2 freezer compartments below, Ninja blender, Kitchen Aide Professional 600 Mixer, coffee grinder and coffee maker, french press, toaster oven, high-quality cookware, dishware, and cutlery.

The living room offers a Sonos soundbar, Smart TV, remote-controlled blinds, Very Large Fan. Grab the kettlebell or yoga mat in the closet for a little rooftop activity before you start your day.

The second floor of the house is where the 3 bedrooms are located. The master bedroom features a King bed, wall-mounted smart tv, and a private balcony that looks out onto the backyard. As well as an attached bathroom suite with a shower, soaking tub, skylight, and double vanity sinks. A Queen bed and a Full bed are appointed to the other 2 bedrooms. All bedrooms have ceilings fans as well as accessible closet space to use for the duration of your stay.

About the Outdoor Space:
The third floor of this house is a real gem. It features both covered and open outdoor spaces on the rooftop deck surrounded by tall, lush trees. It has ample seating, an electric grill, bistro lighting, a mini-fridge, additional fans for the warmer months, a portable Bluetooth speaker, and plenty of outlets. You can also enjoy the private, gated front and back yards.

Also, please review the LONG-TERM STAY - ADDITIONAL FEES section below. Stays over 29 days are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping.

In compliance with our policies for long term stays, we need to collect a few additional fees from you before guaranteeing this reservation. Please see below and reply here with any questions. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed.

Additional Cleaning Fee:

We do require additional cleaning fees for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning.

Guest Access:
We offer convenient keyless door codes for self-check-in. Portoro Homes uses smart locks with check-in details provided 48 hours prior to arrival by email and text message.

• Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.

The Neighborhood:
Franklin’s BBQ, Dear Diary coffeehouse, Bird Bird Biscuit, Cuantos Tacos, and Sour Duck Market are right around the corner. Get centered at Black Swan Yoga, head over the White House Lounge for some two-stepping, or enjoy drinks and ski ball at Full Circle Bar.

Getting Around:
Austin is an easy city to get around without a car in this location! Walk, rent a scooter or bike, easy access to Uber/Lyft. Austin offers plenty of transportation options. Ridesharing, micro-mobility, and mass transit are available everywhere. The airport is just 15 minutes away.

We also provide guests with a full list of recommendations and services. This information can be found in the House Manual upon check-in.

Other Things to Note:
If you plan to stay longer than 29 days, please ensure you review the section about LONGER TERM STAYS located in the section above called "The Space”. Pack n Plays or High Chairs must be requested prior to arrival.

- For the safety of guests and the home, there are noise monitoring devices. These devices only measure the decibel level and do NOT record any audio.

Interaction with Guests:
Portoro Homes communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 48 hours prior to arrival date (keyless entry). We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check with no need to stop in at a local office. We do typically check in with guests by email/text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions/inquiries. We are available to guests 24/7.

We follow the CDC Recommended Cleaning Guidelines. You can rest assured this property has been completely sanitized prior to check-in.

The location is perfect when you want to visit Austin ! The home is spotless with everything we need to have the best stay ! We have highly appreciated the rooftop for our breakfast and some wine in the evening ! I have to admit that using the office was just perfect for me !!! This was a bonus I wasn't expected. The communication with the host was so easy & we have appreciated the extended check-out time ! If you want to stay in Austin - this is definitively the place ! We will definitively be back !

Absolutely love this space for our stay in Austin! The space is fantastic! It's brand new, ultra modern, and super clean. The kitchen was well stocked for every occasion, the bedrooms were perfect, and the bathrooms spacious and clean. There was also a sizeable yard that I didn't see on the listing, which was a plus. The rooftop patio was also perfect for sitting outside between activities. The house is attached to the house next door, but we had total privacy and could not hear the neighbors at all. The location was perfect, there's a cool coffee shop down the block, some bars on the main street, and down the road a bit there's a food truck park for a quick bite. All Lyfts were fast and inexpensive all around town. The hosts were communicative over text and allowed us to check in a bit early to drop our luggage. Stop searching, this place is perfect!!

My friends and I were absolutely stunned and impressed by the property from the moment we arrived! Everything in the home was so thoughtfully designed and it was so clean and put together - we absolutely loved it. We cooked a full meal at home one night and the kitchen had everything we could think of for a family meal. Location was fantastic as well - we were just far enough that walking wasn't going to work but ubers were plentiful and not too expensive (we were there for a gameday weekend). All in all, it was a fantastic stay - definitely the kind of comfort we wanted to come home to after a long day out in Austin. Absolutely would recommend and stay here again!
