• Most cabins in the area have gravel roads, but Rustic Mountain Lodge offers mostly paved access with a large gravel parking space that can fit plenty of cars and trailers/boats. While an AWD or an SUV isn’t required, but it can make traveling around Broken Bow a bit easier.

We had a lovely time with our friends for a quick anniversary get away weekend. Home was clean and there was more then enough room for everyone. We enjoyed dinner on the deck, s’mores and live music around the front fire pit. Playing pool with the girls was fun as were the hard games. We enjoyed our quiet time with great friends.
The road getting there needs some work, only 1 car can go at a time. Dirt drive to house was washed out and a lil rough but that’s the only thing that was a lil off for us. The rest was fantastic!

Plenty of room for our two large families. The home is located in a great area. The layout and decor are laid out nicely as well. Unfortunately, the place was not as clean as I wanted. My 9yo first came down to inform me it looked like someone ate a ring pop on his bed and the other bed in the bunk room. Sure enough, I checked and it looked exactly like that .. on the bedspread it looks as though something blue and sticky was eaten in there. Was it washed? Is it a stuck on piece of whatever that didn’t come out in the wash? Who knows. Then later that evening, while getting ready for bed, we had to move the coffee table for the pull out couch in the living room and found chicken nuggets and crumbs and game pieces all under there! Gross! Further evidence it was as clean as touted online. I swept it up and finished the job. I retreated to my room and found a few stains, looked like coffee on the white comforter. I’m not that fussy with messes but it makes all of us rather uneasy, especially in these covid times. So many questions remain.. if it was laundered and still stained, it’s time to replace them.. anything to make the guests feel like it’s been cleaned. I sent an email to the office and sadly I heard nothing back. I gave them ample time to correct or communicate. It left a bad taste in my mouth and will not be back to any cabin managed by this company. This place was great otherwise! I so was hoping to book another stay for the next year … and the WiFi was basically nonexistent, may as well not even mention it’s available lol which maybe it would have been much easier to communicate with the office if it were working.. we have stayed at a lot of vrbos and this was a disappointment
