About this house rental
Lakefront contemporary living at its finest. This newly remodeled beachfront beauty is one of Lakeland Village's top homes. High-end design details enhance the great room's panoramic view of Lake Tahoe. The 3-story home offers access to all Lakeland Village amenities, including private beach and pier, swimming pools, hot tub, and fitness center. This home does not have AC.
The view of Lake Tahoe through the wall of windows is jaw-dropping. Natural light fills the main living room where your crew will relax on the sectional seating, warm up by the gas fireplace, or enjoy movie nights on the 86" big screen. The kitchen is a chef's paradise with all new stainless steel appliances, including double ovens and a 6-burner gas stove. Grab a drink from the beverage cooler and pull up one of the 4 seats at the kitchen island. The dining table for 8 sits beneath a gorgeous wagon wheel chandelier. Absolutely delightful property and worth the premium cost. The beach is connected to the back deck right outside the back door. The place was extremely clean on arrival, modern, and in great shape. Host left comprehensive instructions, including any easy to digest tip sheet on the fridge. We also appreciated the complimentary wine and snacks.

Beautiful location, stunning lakefront view, loved the open and updated kitchen with large island (not the old, cramped galley style kitchen like the original Lakeland Village units!) plus the extra kitchen storage space against the wall that housed a 2 drawer beverage cooler, the microwave and some baking pans (and provided extra counter space for the coffee maker and Keurig). Kitchen was well equipped (we cooked a lot). Property management was very responsive to requests.Home was clean though we had a few maintenance issues (despite these, we would still stay at this property again and definitely rent from RnR again!), which didn’t impact our stay too much. I’d just rather not have to spend time reporting these things while on vacation. Reported issues: Patio screen door around handle was torn. The 2nd floor shower drain was backed up - prop mgmt came the next morning to clear! Steam iron provided had a raised substance of some kind stuck on the plate rendering it unusable unfortunately when we needed it for a nice dinner out to the Charthouse (our best meal of the week, excellent food and service!). Outer glass shower door on 2nd floor bathroom was off track. The toilet roll holder in the 2nd floor bathroom was loose on one side and the toilet paper roll would sometimes fall off. We agreed that all were mostly minor annoyances (except for slow drain which was taken care of quickly) that could wait until we checked out.

We had such a great stay at this unit! Lakeland Village is full of amenities including two pools, hot tubs, a pier and more. But this unit is on a prime spot right on the sand. At this complex, there are some units that get a little smoke from the shared grills and some are just a little too close to the pool. But this unit was in just the prefect spot for us to take our chairs and umbrellas and set up for the day right in front. There was plenty of room to spread out on three levels. The living room furniture was super comfy. The swivel chairs in front of the panoramic window are clutch. Everything was spotless. The bedroom on the third level with the small but adorable en-suite was actually our favorite because of the lake views! But you can’t go wrong staying in any of the bedrooms because of the really well done decor and comfy beds. The kitchen is really well stocked. And when I say that, I say it as someone thats obsessed with cooking and often travels with her own knives and sourdough starter. Lol! There was also a lovely amenity of snacks and wine. Such a wonderful touch. Thank you for making our stay with our sons - who are about to head to college -perfect! We will be back soon and often!!
