The area is beautiful, we have vacationed there many times. The property was very nice. It met all of our needs

My family and I visit Lutsen/Grand Marais area every year for the fall colors and our birthdays, so we absolutely love the surrounding area of the property. But that’s where the love ended. Though the owners were very kind, this specific property felt extremely outdated, many cracks in the ceiling/walls, stained carpet, very old bathrooms and TV, and the beds felt like sleeping on cardboard. It is a pretty penny for the lack of amenities inside the space. Obviously we spend most of our time outdoors when up here, but would be even more disappointed if that wasn’t the case. We will be looking for a different property next time.
