Our family of 11 had an enjoyable stay. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were hot! The kitchen had almost everything we needed including a crockpot. The gas grill was great for one of our evening meals. Spent most mornings and evenings on the deck. The family of deer greeted us daily.

The front porch house had plenty of room for our large group. It was very clean, and Red Lodge is a beautiful area. The house itself definitely needs some general maintenance done to it that has been getting overlooked. Both ceiling fans in the upstairs bedrooms did not function, so it was pretty warm up on the second floor without air moving. Also, there are large electric blinds in the main room that close to keep the sun out from the heat of the day. None of them were functioning either so in the afternoon as it got pretty warm in the house. I notified the host right away of both of these issues and was told that they’re waiting for a technician to come and work on the blinds and they didn’t know about the ceiling fans so they’ll have to have somebody look at them. The front door leading out to the deck sticks so bad you can barely get it open or shut. The large deck was very nice to sit on in the mornings as long as you’re careful because it was built in correctly and the floorboards are like a roller coaster with large humps in them. In the pictures, the grounds look very nice and well taken care of, but it had not been mowed for a long time, so we were unable to do anything out in the yard. The water heater does not keep, it would run out after three or four short showers. And lastly, the gravel road leading to the house was so full of washboards, it would almost shake your vehicle apart if you went more than 5mph, that is not the host fault, but it was unpleasant.
