Unique and secluded. Yard and firepit are great! Keureg (sp) didnt work but outside of that it was a good trip and a good place to stay.

The location and the property were great. The downstairs bathroom was very dirty. Everything else was in pretty good shape. We got there at night and it would’ve been nice if there was some type of motion detection light. It was completely dark. Other than that, we loved the property in the fire pit and it was close to things that we wanted to do.

We loved our vacation time at this cabin. We stayed with our kids (13,9,3). The creek was a huge draw for us and I really appreciated how well kept the property was. It made it very easy to utilize every bit of it to play soccer, toss a ball, make smore's, and chase fireflies. The porch had remote controlled fans which kept it at a perfect temperature even in July. We had the best time sitting on the porch! We hiked quite a bit and enjoyed the area. The cabin was well maintained and we honestly didn’t have any issues with the exterior access. Rooms had fans, lots of towels, SUPER comfy beds, plenty of trash bags/paper towels/toilet paper, and heated bathrooms (which my kids were thrilled about). The only issue we had was that we didn’t have a working coffee maker so we had to go at it old school. Take note that there is no dishwasher and the rooms can have low lighting (we read and play games a lot so it became noticeable but not an actual issue). Also the water pressure is really really low in the showers and both had rain style shower heads. The bathrooms were both really nice though! No issues with phone or internet while we were there, although we tried very hard to disconnect except the last day when it was stormy! There is a new DG Market about 7-10 minutes away that came in handy several times. Be sure to check out Groves Farm Market while you’re visiting and the town seems to have lots of events and happenings.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin; great place to celebrate Xmas away from home. Beautiful mountain area, enjoyed the hiking.Wonderfully pleasant and responsive owner.Recommend highly!
