Property was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. Views were breathtaking. Christine and Jose are wonderful hosts and took us on the best tour ever to a local hidden gem. They go the extra mile as hosts. We are a family of 4 with two children and everyone felt safe and had a great time. Would highly recommend.

La Posada Mountian retreat is a great place to go to explore, relax and recharge. Jose and Christine are the ultimate hosts. They are accommodating, welcoming and make you feel like you are part of their family. My family spent 3 days there but we fell in love with it immediately. We were unable to do day trips with Christine, but I know that they would make it an unbelievable and unforgettable experience. We will definitely set up a tour with them when we can return. The Pool was so much fun. It is heated so when it is cooler at night it is still very comfortable. We stayed in the 3 bedroom unit. It has air conditioning, we opted not to use it because it was very comfortable for us with the fans and breeze from the mountains. Jose was an amazing barista and treated us to latte’s and americanos each morning. The kids really enjoyed seeing their beautiful creatures especially Mr. Peabody, their ostrich, who was very friendly and Luna,the goat, who acted like a big Labrador loving pets. They have horses and offer horseback tours, my boys were too small but I can only imagine how incredible that would be. By far and away La Posada Mountain house blew us away. The view is breathtaking, hosts are welcoming. Truly and enchanting stay. Thank you so much!!

This was an amazing experience. It was exactly what we needed and a great break from the beaches and coastal tempo. Everyone in Utuado was wonderful and Christine and Jose were very warm and welcoming for my children and family. We spent 3 weeks in Puerto Rico, from one side of the island to the other and this is the place that the kids wished they could spend more time.I had been looking to see a coqui since I first heard them and for over two weeks never saw one. In a few seconds Jose was able to go into the brush and bring out one for the kids to see. It was amazing for everyone.The neighbors were great and even brought a pony for the kids to ride. They loved the experience and I highly recommend anyone that wants to see a very beautiful and different part of Puerto Rico than what gets advertised come out and see Utuado and Jose and Christine. Just a beautiful place with views that are amazing. Watching a thunderstorm roll across that valley from that mountain top was something we were glad we could experience. All of that topped with some fireflies. Highly recommended and we hope to go back again some day.

We had an amazing stay in Utuado! The property was absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking mountain views that made every morning and sunset unforgettable. The pool was fantastic—clean, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind while taking in the scenery.
The hosts provided excellent recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and hidden gems, which made our trip even more special. Their hospitality and attention to detail truly enhanced the experience.
If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, stunning views, and great amenities, this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended! 🌴🏞️☀️
Utuado is known for its spectacular mountain landscapes and natural beauty, which made the views even more memorable during our stay.
