About this house rental
The Mackinac Palace is an elegant, handicap accessible bi-level home situated on the bluff overlooking downtown St. Ignace with 180-degree views of Mackinac Island, Moran Bay (Lake Huron) & The Straits of Mackinac. On the main level, you'll walk into the large family/living area with two convertible full-size day beds. Off the family room, you'll find bedroom #1 holding a king-size mattress, bedroom #2 holding 4 sets of bunk beds, and a full-size shared bathroom. Take the stairs or the elevator to the second level which holds a large, stately open concept kitchen/living/dining area, with a massive deck and three-season room overlooking the bay. Off the fully equipped kitchen, you'll find the master bedroom hosting a king-size bed, a private master bathroom with a jetted jacuzzi tub, and a deck overlooking the bay. Mackinac Palace offers amazing views of the bay from nearly every aspect of the home. The large water-facing deck provides a perfect spot to watch the weekly fireworks, sunsets, and ferry activity.

The house was very spacious and exceeded our expectations. Great location to restaurants and ferry. No major issues that needed addressing with host during our stay. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have a grill for use during stay and a bit nicer / more comfortable deck furniture for enjoying the nice sized deck and views. Otherwise great property and would definitely consider staying again.

The king bed in the master needs replaced as it is broke down and you slide under the headboard.
