Litchfield Retreat offers resort-like condo living uniquely located within the residential neighborhood of North Litchfield Beach coveted for its relaxed character and uncrowded stretch of sand along one of the finest beaches on the east coast.
Retreat 503 is a northeast facing, fifth floor condo offering an updated interior with open concept common areas, ceiling fans throughout, and en suite primary bedroom with king bed. The kitchen and dining area have wood-look luxury tile flooring, and the living room and bedrooms have a neutral tone, tight-weave carpet. The covered balcony boasts rocking chairs and exceptional peek-a-boo ocean view. A ground level beach gear locker is available for guest use.

LENGTH OF STAY: Saturday to Saturday stays in summer. Partial week stays may be considered for last-minute bookings. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.
RETREAT AMENITIES: Year-round outdoor pool tucked within a tropical courtyard of towering palm trees (no pool heat), central picnic grilling area, bike racks, spacious parking, beach path rinsing station, wireless internet, three common-use elevators as well as two coin-operated laundry rooms with trash chutes on every floor.
BEACH ACCESS: Approx. 3-minute walk. Located on second row with access directly across the road, Litchfield Retreat makes the beach easy to come and go on foot. Carrying your favorite gear is a breeze thanks to the wide boardwalk over low dunes with ramps on each end.
BIKE TRAIL ACCESS: The Waccamaw Neck Bikeway runs through North Litchfield Beach parallel to Ocean Highway 17. Pick up the trail by heading toward Ocean Highway via North Boyle Road or Windover Drive to Trace Drive. Look for the white on blue Bike Path markers. Bring your own bicycles or call us about rentals in the area. Bike racks are available on site.
NORTH LITCHFIELD BEACH: Untouched by commercial enterprise, this residential neighborhood is coveted for its relaxed character and uncrowded stretch of sand. In addition to miles of beachcombing, the popular Waccamaw Bikeway passes through this area. Hop on the trail and head north to experience the fascinating Brookgreen Gardens or explore the vibrant estuaries at Huntington Beach State Park. Head south to shop, find great local dining, and enjoy the Lowcountry vibe. Numerous prized golf courses are also in the area as well as art galleries, historic landmarks, and boat excursions.

The owners of this property understand short term rentals! I have stayed in many places that have bare minimum amenities and cheap furniture. Not this property! The kitchen has many quality appliances (including a griddle, Keurig plus a drip coffee maker, and crock pot), plenty of cooking utensils, and is well organized. The living area and deck feature comfortable, sturdy furniture and a huge television. Beds were very comfortable. Attention to details set this property apart. There are USB charging ports beside every bed and strategically placed in the living space. Also, there are automatic night lights throughout the property. We enjoyed our stay immensely and look forward to returning.
