We love this area in Hilton Head and so thankful that we had the opportunity to stay for a few days during Christmas break. It's a great cottage in a fabulous location. The owners were very responsive plenty of space for me and my wife and dog. Happy New Year!

We had a wonderful at Sandcastle 42 and will stay again. The house was very clean, well stocked, functional.

Overall, okay. It has the potential to be much more comfortable. The furniture definitely needs upgrading; mattresses were not great. My back went out the second day (it IS sensitive) and the bedrooms need better lighting.
We didn’t have a covered place for our bikes so we had to bring them into the cottage because rain was in the forecast many days.
I can tell the owners have tried to make things attractive and I appreciate that.
The description of the cottage said there were cable remotes and streaming. We were told the owners had just terminated the cable so we had a learning curve for YouTube TV. We managed but if was much less fluid.
We have rentals ourselves so it pains me to say anything negative but I am hoping it will help to make it an even better experience for future guests.
The management company was very responsive.
