We visit here every year. I am still finding hospitality details that Host Kim has prepared for “just in case”. This year we had some snow during or visit and wished we had packed cider or coco. There it was, all ready for us in the cabinet. Along with a great selection of teas. The beds and furniture is very comfortable. This is a single floor house which makes accessibility easy. We saw families of deer each evening. Our host provides the inside fireplace wood for free and that really adds a wonderful comfort to our time here. When my grand children get a little older this will be our yearly vacation with them. Such a great area for family. This property really is a must see.

This home was amazing! The host has everything so well organized with visuals, QR codes, and a very helpful welcome book. The accommodations were very comfortable with nice touches such as items for pets, laundry supplies, etc. The owners communication was the best I've experienced with VRBO. Highly recommend Das Waldhaus and would rent it again in a heart beat!

Beautiful space. Everything is well-stocked and labeled. Such an easy place to sink into. We only wish we could have stayed longer; fully recommend.
