Welcome to Croix Hollow. This custom built cedar home is nestled on 12 acres in the Saint Croix River Valley. It features a soaring great room with a wall of windows, updated kitchen with quartz countertops, 3 gas fireplaces, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sauna, lower level bar, and theater room!

This home was recently renovated and is new to the rental market as of February, 2022. It is located halfway between historic Stillwater and Taylor's Falls. Wander through the Franconia Sculpture Garden, have a wine tasting at Rustic Roots Winery, or take a drive on the St. Croix River Scenic Byway.

Whether you are looking for a couple's escape, a family getaway, or a girls weekend you will have plenty of room to relax and unwind.

The soaring two and a half story great room on the main level is the perfect place to gather. It features a gas fireplace with two walls of windows, with a wooded view. Here you can access the large wraparound deck with lots of seating!

The main level also features a newly remodeled kitchen with quartz countertops, hickory cabinets, Subzero fridge, and eat-in area. The formal dining room is next to the kitchen, with seating for 8.

Rounding out the main floor is a bedroom with desk and attached jack and jill full bath, as well as a brand new front loading washer & dryer in the main floor mudroom - available for you to use during your stay.

The primary bedroom occupies the second floor of the home. It features a gas fireplace (double sided to both bedroom & bathroom), private balcony, primary bathroom with double vanity, huge jetted tub, and stand alone shower.

The walkout lower level is filled with light, and the perfect place for spotting wildlife! Downstairs you will find the theater room, along with a large entertaining area with bar, and plenty of seating. There are also two bedrooms - one bedroom with attached bath & 4 person sauna, and the bunk room.

Our linens & towels are 100% cotton, and we do our best to use scent-free detergents and cleaning products.

The newly remodeled theater room features a 75" HDTV with streaming services, Sonos surround sound and large, cozy sectional sofa.

There is a large wraparound deck off of the great room, which features a 3 burner gas grill, outdoor sectional, loveseat, chairs, and an outdoor dining table that seats 12.

Off to the left side of the house you will find a fire pit with Adirondack chairs and lots of room to roam.

Can I have a Wedding on the property?
No, we cannot host actual Weddings on the property.

Do you charge a cleaning fee?
Yes, unfortunately we have to charge the dreaded cleaning fee. This is a large house which takes hours to clean in between guests. In return, we only ask that you put your garbage in the garage, and dirty dishes into the dishwasher. No need to strip beds or anything like that, the house will be cleaned from top to bottom after your departure.

Is there enough parking for 12 guests?
Yes! We have a long country driveway, as well as 2 car garage with paved turnaround / extra parking area.
