About this house rental
This sweet vacation rental cottage is a short distance to two of Rockport's finest beaches - Cape Hedge and Long Beach. The cozy summer cottage has lovely views, from the back deck and lush yard, of the marsh and Saratoga Creek which handles the glittering tidal flow from the beaches.
Beach Bungalow is a one-level living vacation rental designed for easy living. You will have everything you need for the perfect beach getaway with the enclosed sun porch for additional living space. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating which conveniently doubles as the dining area. Several rooms are wall-paneled creating a cozy and comfy feel.
Off of the living area are two bedrooms, a modern bathroom with a shower, as well as the compact but very functional kitchen, which has everything you need. A door from the kitchen leads to the back deck which is the best place to eat al fresco, as well as to enjoy the water views.
Just a short path takes you to the Saratoga Creek Footbridge which leads you to your choice of Cape Hedge (to the left) or Long Beach (to the right). Life should always have such easy choices! Choose to spend your beach vacation in this idyllic spot in Rockport by the sea.

Cottage is cute and was well-appointed for our week-long stay. Neighbors were super friendly. I think it could have been a little cleaner (we pulled a dresser in the living room away from the wall looking for an outlet to plug in a fan and it clearly hadn't been cleaned in quite some time). I also wish they had at least one queen size bed. I knew when we rented it that the full size beds might be a challenge and they were. For that reason alone I would rent something with larger beds next time. I would recommend this property to people who don't mind small beds (and bring extra pillows...not enough on hand)! Oh...and I had bought some muffins for breakfast and left them (unopened) on a high shelf in the kitchen and when I went to them by morning they were covered in ants (inside the box and out). I had seen the ant traps but thought on a high shelf they would be ok...I was wrong. All-in-all it was a good time, I would have just preferred some updates and a cleaner space.
