About this farm stay rental

Ever wanted to visit a rural and quiet place off the beaten path, but still be reasonably close enough to civilization that you can grab a bite to eat or do some shopping?

Three full bedrooms and several couches make it possible to sleep 10 adults comfortably. There's a full kitchen, a gas grill, and fire pit available for cooking. The front and back yards are very spacious, with plenty of room for just about any outdoor game you want to play. There's also a fenced dog run to allow for pets to have some space.

The house is just 40 minutes from the Columbus Ohio airport (CMH), and 15 minutes away from Delaware, Ohio - where there are a number of great restaurants and brewhouses in the uptown area. If you're a horse/harness racing fan, this is just minutes from the Delaware fairgrounds where they hold the Little Brown Jug race each year.

Location was great for the reason we were in the area and stores/restaurants were not far. Check in was easy. Received code and house instructions were on table. We did not get any correspondence from host. The kitchen is nicely furnished and easy to prepare meals. Laundry on site is nice. Home was surface clean, but carpet had areas that were stained/dirty. Bedroom four beds were not comfortable and TV is small. Bedroom 1 has no TV to see from that room and bedroom 2 has no TV which was not ideal for our long stay and number of guests. The driveway is lined with trees and they are not trimmed, so if you have a SUV or higher profile vehicle the branches with rub/scratch against it.

We had a great time celebrating our son's wedding. The home had plenty of space and was a great setting. I had 3 small issues: the front door and other places had peeling paint, the clean odor was extremely strong and hard on my nose, and none of the three tuvs had a working plug.

Fantastic stay just as described work perfectly would highly recommend. I would suggest changing the showerhead in the bathroom off of the living room. I believe it might be broken.

This place is awesome. We rented the home for a graduation weekend. Coming from 9 hours away I could not bring my kitchen with me and was delightfully surprised that I didn’t need too. They had everything we needed and more. The yard was perfect for a game of croquet and the kids to run around. We will definitely be back for another visit.

What a beautiful home! From arrival to departure, the host was quickly responsive to any questions we had and accommodated to last minute changes. The house was clean, vacuumed and smelt like flowers. All appliances were adequately working and air flow (along with perfect weather) saved us from rarely putting on the AC. Although, we were rarely there during the day, it was the perfect quiet place to come home to after a long festival day! 10/10 highly recommend!

The house was large enough for 10 people to be in comfortably. It was laid out very nicely and has a Great back patio. The location is back off the road so it is very quiet. Everything in the house was perfectly clean and made us fuel very much at home. The owner was very responsive to any questions. We would highly recommend this for anyone staying in the Ashley area.

We rented Andrew's place for our daughter's wedding at the Beverly Mansion and our stay was very nice. The house is large and was able to accommodate the wedding party for the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. No one felt crowded and the dinner turned out great - the driveway is difficult to see at night so we put up a banner at the end it and everyone made it first try. When we checked out and started our trip home, my wife realized that she left her phone in the house but by the time we got back to the house, the lock code had changed. I messaged Andrew and he was very quick to unlock the door and allow my wife back in to get her phone - exceptional service.

This property location is amazing. The whole property is very well maintained and the house is very clean. The backyard view is the best. Sitting at the dining table eating breakfast and looking through the back door was my favorite.

I would definitely stay here again! Two families (with dogs) had to attend a barn wedding in near by Delaware. This place had everything and more that we needed. Check in and check out was the easiest I have experienced. The kitchen was stocked with condiments, paper products and all the little things so I didn’t have to unpack mine.

We stayed three nights and would definitely stay again. This home is very clean and spacious and very quiet in the country. We were working in the Marengo area. The only drawback would be restaurants. There is nowhere to eat breakfast on the route to where we were working, and we had to travel to Delaware for a selection of restaurants in the evening. Not a deal-breaker, though -- just plan ahead. We attempted to eat at some of the Ashley restaurants, but they were either closed or had staffing issues.

My family enjoyed the comfortable, spacious house for our Thanksgiving holiday. The 3 bathrooms were great, the king size bed was super comfortable and the kitchen had everything to make our meals. Took us about 35 minutes to get to Columbus for some entertainment and the local town had easy pick up options. Would stay again!

The property was super clean, and well maintained. Also this home is much larger that it looked in the pictures. We had 5 adults, 2 dogs and 2 kids staying here and we never felt like we were on top of each other. Having two living areas and 3 bathrooms was amazing!!! The yard is huge and flat, and the fenced doggy area was very convenient. Ten out of ten would stay here again.

This home had a beautiful view and we had a great time. We grilled out on the back porch and enjoyed listening to the birds sing while looking out into the fields. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in area. We enjoyed being out in the country, but also appreciated there being a Dollar General right up the road for snack runs. The home had everything we needed and we would gladly stay again.

A peaceful setting for distant family to gather to meet the newest member is what we found in this country home. Easy to get to from all directions. And a bonus was the Cheesecake Factory is less than 30 minutes away! I enjoyed having my morning coffee on the back deck listening to the birds. I will be checking to see if this home is available for my next visit.
