This residence is situated in Milton, Delaware, providing convenient access to the Lewes Georgetown Highway (Route 9). Within minutes, you can have your feet in the sand, indulge in tax-free shopping at the Tanger Outlets, and savor exquisite dining in the historic town of Lewes. A mere 7.5-mile drive will take you to downtown Lewes, Lewes Beach, Cape Henlopen State Park, and just 10 miles further lies Rehoboth Beach.

Our host, Joshua, was fantastic! He communicated everything necessary in a timely manner and the few times I had a question, he responded within minutes and was warm and welcoming always. The house was lovely and comfortable. It felt very spacious while also feeling cozy. My son definitely enjoyed having his own “apartment” on the second floor. That’s its own space with a bed, bathroom and living area with a TV and a door to close yourself off from the downstairs. He was in heaven. The yard was lush and green and huge. We could have played a football game on it. And there was a very nice patio out back with a grill, a fire pit and a table and chairs.The area is great! We loved the beach, it was beautiful, and the trail near the house. And we found some great paces to eat nearby.All-in-all it was a great trip and we will definitely be returning to Lewes and Joshua’s Coastal Cottage.

This was our annual Girls Fall Getaway and the cottage was in the perfect location. Literally just across the street is a trail where we did our morning runs and walks and a brewery which had several events during our 4 day stay. The cottage was driving distance to other breweries and restaurants. We even completed the annual Dogfish 6k Dash while we were there. Josh was great and was very attentive to our needs. Definitely recommend!

Our cycling group stayed here for the annual AARP ride in Dover. The property had a nice common area, outdoor patio area and ample parking. Close to beaches although we didn't go. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. If you have more than 6 people who drink coffee, there are only 6 mugs. Owner SUPER responsive and helpful. Although we were a group of adults, house perfect for a family and would highly recommend. There is even a Mickey Mouse waffle maker - too cute.
