About this house rental
Located at the mouth of Cottonwood canyons, this amazing home is close to mountains and all that Salt Lake City has to offer, making it ideal for skiing and family gathering. Open concept living with huge kitchen/dining area, plus 2 living/seating spaces on the main level. Enjoy movies and music with the 72" Samsung TV with premium audio and blue ray player while cooking or dining. The kitchen is well-lit and equipped with everything you need to prepare meals for your group. The large table seats 12 and the adjoining kitchen counter can seat 4 more people.
The 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bath rooms, including a master bedroom with a private bathroom. The master is furnished with a king-size bed, dresser, desk, TV and nightstand. The 2nd bedroom comes with a queen bed, dresser, desk, TV and night stand. The third bedroom is furnished with 2 queen beds, a dresser, desk, TV and night stands.
The lower level has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom with washer/dryer in the closet. The larger bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed with a twin bed on top and a double bed at the bottom. Walking distance to Golden Hills Park. Grocery store and restaurants are at the corner of 3500 E and Bengal Blvd.
Restaurants, gas station and Smith's Food & Drug are a few blocks away. Multiple shopping centers with dining and entertainment are within 5-10 min drive. 18 min to Alta and Snowbird ski area, 26 min to Brighton, 35 min to Canyons Village at Park City, 42 min to Deer Valley Resort, 21 min to Downtown, 25 min to Salt Lake City International Airport.

Overall it was a nice house that was clean and had lots of space. I really enjoyed the toiletries that were provided in all of the bathrooms. However, we arrived at the house late and the first night to find the air conditioning off and it was 84 degrees in the house. We spent a miserable first nights it took several hours to cook it down to a comfortable temperature.Finally, the driveway is a very steep downward slope into the garage. Our check in instructions stated that it was sloped and it fit 2 mid sized cars in the garage. What wasn’t said was that due to the steep slope and the height of the garage, our suburban did not fit.

Initial impressions were shadowed by not being able to check in until 40 minutes after the check in time. This was annoying especially since we had a long drive that day. The place is very clean. The layout is strange. One of the bedrooms is at the back of the garage literally in the garage. We did not have to use that room so it was not a big deal. The hot tub is not hot it is set at 98 degrees and will not go higher. The jets work great but it feels just warm. You have to go through the downstairs bedroom to get to the jot tub which is weird if someone is staying in there. It is also hard to get in and out of with a plastic stool. There is no yard and the house/town houses are stacked right next to each other. Despite the closeness it was very quiet. The bunk bed in the downstairs bedroom is horribly squeaky and it is okay as far as comfort is concerned. The pillows are like pancakes and not comfortable at all. The king size bed in the main room upstairs is very comfortable. The queen beds were okay but nothing to write home to mom about. There are a total of 30 stairs. So if anyone struggles with stairs this is not good for them. The garage smelled because the trash cans are in there. There were no wash cloths. Overall there was plenty of room and it served the purpose though for the money I have stayed in much better stocked, organized, and convenient VRBO’s.

Great location between Little and big Cottonwood canyons. Lots of room in the condo. We got 42 inches of snow while we were there for three days skiing!
