The furnished one-bedroom hotel-like apartment features a solid commercial entry door, deadbolt & security latch, laminated glass windows, and commercial grade interior fire & sound-rated separation walls—dual tankless hot water heater. Two mini-split head units in the living room and bedroom provide unmatched climate control. Fill the refrigerator, load the Dishwasher, make a meal in the microwave or cook a home meal on the stovetop; we provide all the essentials in the cabinets. Fast firewall-protected 5g wifi with a space to work, and more to relax, binge your favorite series on 4k Smart TV in the living room while enjoying a snack. Continue the show while unwinding like a king in bed. Arise to an instant hot shower and a quick Keurig brew, and secure your suite with a press of a button before heading into town.
When facing The Rosalie, enter the drive aisle on the right of the building, look for our "Welcome Please Enter Here" sign. Continue to the back lot, where you will see seven parking spaces. Please only use two spaces. (If you have guests or additional vehicles, parking on the street is limited to 2 hours, Mon-Sat, and unlimited parking on Sunday.)
Once parked, face The Rosalie and look toward the right side of the building for our pathway sign "Suites One and Two this way." Follow the brick path toward the front porch; Suite One will be on your left. Look for the door with the "Suite One" sign and enter the code on the keypad to complete our seamless self-check-in process!
Keep peace of mind while you're home or away as The Rosalie's Ring, security cameras border the exterior and are constantly recording video and audio. In the Kitchen of each suite, there will be a Minut decibel monitor. We ask that sound in each unit remain at a respectable level. Please keep in mind these systems only monitor decibel levels and do not record sound. Our goal is to ensure quiet enjoyment for all guests.

This property was in a great location and very close to EVMS, CHKD, ODU and Naval Station Norfolk. It was clean, quiet and very convenient. Although I gave 5 stars my only negative is the property owner should consider replacing their towels and bed linen. Although they were clean, they were all very dingy and bordering on dirty looking. In spite that I do recommend this place as I will definitely consider staying again on my next visit(s).

If you need a place to stay while a loved one is in the nearby hospital, then this is the place for you! You can just park your car here and walk to the hospitals. It felt spacious and it was clean. The mini-kitchen was great, so I could make my own food and save money on eats. Ample pots and pans and dishes. Keurig with pods was a bonus. Wifi worked well enough for a two hour TEAMS meeting. Bed was comfy and a/c worked well. Highly recommend.

We were just there for a long weekend for family event. But the apartment was well set up for a longer stay. I was especially impressed with the amount of storage. It would be very easy to stay there longer.

This stay at Rosalie Suite 1 was our second stay. Upon checking into Rosalie about a year ago, I called needing the floor mopped. Again this stay, I should have called about the floors being dirty, but I didn’t really have time to deal with it. I just wore shoes/slippers all the time.
It really is unfortunate because a dirty floor was the only problem. Everything else was perfect. I am sure we will stay again because it is walking distance to/from Benchtop brewery—my son’s brewery—which is our reason for visiting Norfolk.
Before our next visit, I will call to ask that the floors be checked and, if necessary mopped; or I will bring a mop to mop the floors upon arrival.
Seriously, I am not trying to be a smart ass; we honestly find Rosalie Suite 1 to be perfect for our needs. However, the dirty floor makes me very uncomfortable.
The color of the floor throughout the suite does not show dirt, so everything looks perfect upon arrival.
