About this cabin rental

Welcome to Sunset Escape, your front-row seat to lake life on Grand Lake St. Marys in Celina, OH! This beautiful “Key West style” cottage features 1 bedroom, 2 lofts, and 1 full bathroom – plus unbeatable views of both the lake and the pool.

As you make your way inside, you’re greeted with an airy, open-concept space with a fully furnished kitchen and cozy living room with a Smart TV. This is the perfect place to kick back and relax after a day on the water. Cable and Internet are provided.

Continue through the cottage, you’ll find a queen bedroom as well as the full bathroom. The one loft has a queen bed where the ladder-access loft has two twin beds. You can enjoy a pleasant night’s sleep on the freshly laundered linens and memory foam mattresses. The linens are laundered between guests. A washer and dryer are also located inside the cottage for your convenience.

Outside you can enjoy your private patio, fire up the grills by the pools, or unwind on the covered front porch while soaking in the view. Boardwalk Village guests will have access to enjoy both pools, grills, outdoor dining areas, a four-season pool house, yard games, and more. Free parking is also available for guests. Guests will receive a door code prior to arrival for an easy self-check-in.

We’re just minutes from downtown Celina, where there you’ll find plenty of shopping and dining options. You can walk, bike, or rent a golf cart to explore the area.

BEDS: This unit sleeps up to 6. On the main floor, there is a master bedroom with a queen bed. There is an upstairs loft, accessed by a small set of stairs, with a queen bed along with another upstairs loft, accessed by a ladder, with 2 twin beds.

PARKING: This cottage comes with 2 parking passes that are provided inside the unit. If they are not left in the welcome basket upon check-out, you will be charged a fee of $75/each to replace. No additional parking passes will be given. If additional parking is needed, please contact the host. Parking at BOARDWALK GRILL is prohibited unless you are dining at the restaurant.

POOL: We will provide 6 wristbands in your unit for each guest to access the pool areas. We also provide a key fob that gains you access to the pool when open. You will be able to access both pools with this key fob. Pool access is for staying guests only.

*Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty. Guests use the pool at their own risk. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur in the pool area.*

PETS: This unit is NOT pet friendly. However, we do have select units that are pet friendly at Boardwalk Village – Pelican’s Perch, The Captain, 769 TH, 771 TH, Sandlot, Glistening Gem, Sunny Shores, and Coastal Charm.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: At Boardwalk Village, we pride ourselves not only on our superb service but the quality of our units as well. With that, a $250 security deposit will show as a pre-authorized/pending charge on your credit card prior to your check-in. This is to cover any broken, stolen, damaged and/or irreplaceable items, and smoking anywhere inside the unit. This pre-authorized/pending charge will fall off of your account if none of the above happen. If the cost of damages exceeds the $250 security deposit, the additional amount will be charged to the card on file.

CANCELLATION POLICY: The cancellation policy is a 100% refund up to 60 days before arrival, 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival, no refund within 30 days of check-in. This also applies to any reservation date changes. When booking through Airbnb, the cancellation policy is a 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival.

ADDITIONAL BOOKING INFO: You will only be charged 50% of your entire reservation amount upon booking (unless your check-in is within 30 days). The final 50% will be auto-charged 30 days prior to check-in.

BOAT RENTALS: Helton Lodge Boat Rentals is located right here at Boardwalk Village! Helton Lodge offers rentals for pontoon boats, kayaks, paddle boats, golf carts, bicycles and more!

BOAT DOCKS: Dock spaces are available for rent for $25 per each day of your reservation if you are bringing your own boat. If you are renting a boat from Helton Lodge, you do not need to rent a dock as one is already provided.

BOARDWALK GRILL EVENT SPACE: Boardwalk Grill has an ideal rental space to host a variety of events! Enjoy their private upstairs room for FREE with their regular menu if you have a party of 25 people or less. Charges are applied and the catering menu is required with parties over 25. Events include but are not limited to family reunions, bridal/baby showers, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, retirement parties, company gatherings, holiday parties, etc.!

SUB SHACK: We`ve got two awesome Sub Shack locations! Boardwalk Marketplace - Our seasonal (May 1st-September 30th), weather-based spot serving subs, salads, apps & more. Shipyard Sports & Events Center - which is just 0.6 miles down the road from Boardwalk Village! Enjoy a full dining experience with subs, salads, apps, drinks & plenty of fun. The restaurant overlooks the Sports Fieldhouse, so you can kick back while the kids shoot hoops, play soccer, and more (when leagues and tournaments aren`t in session). Plus, take a swing in our indoor golf simulators!

FITNESS CENTER ACCESS FOB: An amazing fitness experience awaits you at Innergy Fitness, located inside Shipyard Sports and Event Center. By purchasing an access fob add-on at check-out, you`ll get 24/7 access to top of the line cardio + strength equipment, a dry + infrared sauna, and access to their innovative fitness classes! The cost of the access fob add-on is $5 per fob per night of your reservation, so you are able to access the Innergy Fitness facility throughout your entire reservation. If it is not left in the welcome basket upon check-out, you will be charged a fee of $75 to replace.

BLUE GOOSE SHUTTLE: Hop on the Blue Goose and let it shuttle you to all the local events, bars, restaurants, and shopping locations. The Blue Goose travels on its regular route throughout Celina on weekends from May 1st through September 30th. From October 1st through April 30th, you can call in advance to reserve the Blue Goose. Don’t worry about driving anywhere during your stay at Boardwalk Village!

COCONUT HUT: located in the Boardwalk Marketplace, is open and serving up island vibes, delicious food from the Sub Shack, and tropical drinks, 7 days a week from May 1st -September 30th! Since it`s located right behind this unit, we wanted to give you a friendly heads-up that you may hear some music and laughter during open hours. It`s a lively, laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere we`ve created for guests and locals alike - and we hope you`ll come check it out!

WEEKLY/MONTHLY OFF-SEASON DISCOUNTS: We offer a 15% weekly discount if you stay 7+ nights and a 30% monthly discount if you stay 30+ nights. These discounts are valid during our OFF-SEASON months only (October-April). The discount codes can be applied at the time of booking your reservation but are not valid if you are taking advantage of our extended stay program. We have the right to remove the discount code from your reservation if you are staying in a unit that is part of our extended stay program. An extended stay booking is for short-term, temporary lodging only. No tenancy rights or landlord-tenant relationships are created. This property may not be used as a permanent or primary residence. Guests may not receive mail or packages at this address. Guests must vacate the premises by the end of the reservation. Failure to vacate will result in additional charges, and legal action may be taken if necessary.

**The fourth phase of Boardwalk Village is currently under construction. Construction will begin October 2025 and is expected to be finished Summer 2026. This is taking place on the far South end of the property. Do take this into consideration when booking as there will be construction work going on during this time frame from 8am-4pm during the week. The crews will be cognizant of guests staying during this time and will keep noise as minimal as possible while still trying to stay on schedule to completion. Thank you for your understanding!**

This is a NO SMOKING & NO PET UNIT. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the unit. This includes, but is not limited to, cigarettes, cigars, pipes, vaping devices, e-cigarettes, and marijuana (medical or recreational). Smoking of tobacco products is permitted outside only, provided all doors and windows remain closed to prevent smoke from entering the unit. The smoking of marijuana is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises, including inside the unit and in all outdoor areas. A minimum charge of $250 will be imposed for any evidence of smoking or pets inside the unit.

Please refer to the signage for pool area rules and hours. Guests who enter the pool area must have a Boardwalk Village wristband. NO GLASS IN THE POOL AREA - NO EXCEPTIONS!

QUIET HOURS begin at 11PM.

CHECK OUT TIME IS 10AM. Please vacate the unit on time so our cleaning staff has enough time to prepare for our next guests. Please close all windows and lock all exterior doors. Late departures will be charged $75. Our housekeeping staff has carefully cleaned, stocked and inventoried this unit prior to your arrival. Please help

    From the moment we parked and saw the cottages we were excited. The inside of the cottoage was amazing and we decided that we were coming back with the kids in the summer. We loved everything about this place and the people are super nice as well as the other guest we greeted us when we arrived. Hands down the best vacation this year for us

    Enjoyed our stay here. Nice little cottage and very clean. Entire pool was 3 ft deep which was perfect for my young children. It was very quiet Sunday to Thursday nights. Friday night was quite loud late into night with music from neighboring bar & grill, air horn being blown, and other guests making noise in pool. Also be aware stairs to loft bedroom are quite steep so don't plan to have anyone elderly or toddlers stay in lofts. Otherwise a great vacation spot! Will stay here again.

    This was a great accommodation for us, clean and spacious. The lake was right across the road and there was lots of seating to just sit and enjoy. The setting is "boat docks" which was fine for us but a park is less than a mile south if you prefer trees with your lake views.
