We invite you to escape to the tranquility of Canary Cottage, a beautifully renovated fishing cottage just a block from the water`s edge. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Buckeye Lake and enjoy all the modern amenities this charming cottage has to offer.
Relax in the hot tub on the front deck while taking in the stunning views of the lake. Gather around the fire table on the patio for cozy evenings under the stars. Inside, you`ll find a newly renovated kitchen with all the essentials, a spacious dining area, and a comfortable living room with a large ROKU TV for movie nights. The first floor also features a luxurious bathroom with a walk-in shower and soaking tub, perfect for indulging in some self-care.
Upstairs, you`ll find three inviting bedrooms, each with a comfortable memory foam mattress and a ROKU TV. Wake up to the peaceful sounds of the lake and start your day with a cup of coffee on the balcony overlooking the water.
Canary Cottage is located just a short walk from Papa Boos, a favorite local spot for waterfront dining and live music. With limited parking space on the property, we recommend a four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle during snowy or icy conditions. Our property is also equipped with exterior security cameras for your peace of mind.

Great experience. Proximity to Buckeye Lake was overestimated. Only way it could take 6 minutes is if I crawled home from Boo's.
Would certainly rent the place again, and bring Mom, Dad, and dog with me!

Inside was cozy yard wasn’t considering the neighbors

You can tell this property was once nice, but it is in desperate need of maintenance. The hot tub lid was ripped, there was trash sitting around outside, the outdoor furniture was unusable, broken and moldy. The hot tub had clearly not been cleaned, there was a lot of dirt and debris at the bottom, we did not get in. The inside was pretty clean but it needs a deep clean. The window seals have not been cleaned in years a thick layer of dust and dirt were caked on. The stairs were covered in dog hair and dirt, especially the white edge going up. I did not feel comfortable not wearing shoes inside. comforters all needed washed, sheets were clean but good thing we brought our own blankets because there was not even a top sheet on the master bed. The water smells really bad, I get its near a lake but I think the well needs shocked. There were some positives, our kids loved the train table and the toys. The back yard was nice, we spent a lot of our time in the back. It was within walking distance to a few restaurants. You definitely can't see the lake from this home, like advertised. Expensive for what you get.
