Curb appeal great,just as shown in the picture.The pre communication with Mark and directions he gave was excellent.Upon entering the home it was clean and welcoming. Everything was in place as advertised.We were able to find everything we needed.The location was perfect for us, we walked to breakfast and on some days walked to lunch.Shopping was minutes away from the house and it didn’t take us long to drive to the beach.We enjoyed the Florida room, the view from the kitchen out to the backyard and lake, and the ducks always came to visit.Communication with mark was always welcomed and responses were prompt.We will stay at Mark’s house anytime we visit Florida as long as it is available.

This house is in a sketchy part of town. I never feared for my safety, but I definitely locked the door as soon as I walked in every time. We got heckled my multiple people at the gas station just around the corner. The house is in a neighborhood where houses are inches apart. The neighbor woke us up 2 nights with sounds of vomiting. Sights, sounds traveled from house to house. Luckily, the neighbors weren't rowdy... The house itself was relatively clean (empty beer bottle left under the bed but that's it). Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, coffee maker, etc. Great furniture - the bed was super comfy, patio furniture, dining table, living room, etc. Linens were also very nice quality. No shampoo/soap provided, so bring your own, or pick some up at Publix. We couldn't get the TVs to work, but that could have been our fault. We didn't try very hard.

It was a great location to get away from the maddening crowd.. very quiet and relaxed. This canal behind the home was great as we sat and watched the ducks going by. I definitely recommend this home .

The house looks nice. There are no supplies needed, no extra toilet paper, no extra paper towels, very little usable utensils in kitchen, no extra towels or wash rags. The owner is trying to say there are Irvine stains on mattresses and charge us for them, when we all know that is just not true. He started the email asking if we had trip insurance so it seems like a money making scam to charge when people leave. Batteries in remotes were dead, lights without lights bulbs. Would not stay here again and for the issues it is not going to cause it was not worth it.

Amazing stay!

Mark was an amazing host & was super helpful whenever we needed him. His place is only about a 30 min drive to the beach and 20 to downtown Fort Lauderdale. There were cute restaurants and stores all within a 2 mile radius which was perfect for us especially if you don't have a car so much is within walking distance. The place was extremely clean and the back yard was perfect. I loved seeing all of the wild life too, that was the best. Definitely will be staying here again!

The house is very clean but a little antiquated. The lighting throughout the house is very dim and made it difficult to get dressed in the rooms. Need to add light bulbs in the dining area as well. Nosey neighbor across the street. Other than that very good location for travel to Fort Lauderdale and Miami.

The house was clean and comfortable. The back yard was very nice with ducks and other birds right outside the screened porch. Check in was easy as was checkout. Host was responsive and pleasant when I had a question. It was a pleasant rental experience.

The property appears to be a work in progress. When we arrived we were a little hesitant about our choice in rentals. Once inside the house looked clean, but as we explored each room we could see a lot of items missed by the cleaning crew. The master bedroom had A very strong cigarette smoke smell to it. The screen sunroom was extremely dirty. Cigarettes and ashes left scattered on the table, filthy old ceiling fans, filthy screens and dirty floors. Two dirty old rusty trifold metal lounge chairs laying in the backyard. Inside, fridge had no light.Inside, there was not a toaster, just an old small toaster oven. the washer and dryer were off limits because our stay was less than a week, there were multiple roach droppings on the wall in the main bathroom and a used personal item left in the bathtub which indicated that the tub wasn’t cleaned. No kitchen garbage bags, other than the one that was in the small broken kitchen garbage can. 3 very small TVs 1 located on the kitchen table, the other 2 in the bedrooms. On the plus side, the king bed in the front bedroom was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve stayed in away from home. This place could be a nice rental with a little TLC and a thorough cleaning inside and out. I gave it 3 stars because it served the purpose of our visit,
