About this apartment rental

2BR 2BA End-unit lakefront townhome in Sea Colony West. One minute walk to tennis and pickleball courts, outdoor recreation pavilion with bathrooms, BBQ grills, 1/2 Basketball court and cornhole. Enjoy the quiet resort of idyllic setting for families. No need to worry about beach parking. Sea Colony has trams to 1/2 mile private beach. It has Indoor/outdoor pools throughout. SC is walking distance to downtown Bethany with its lovely boardwalk and great restaurants.

Badges and parking passes (for additional fees) are required while on Sea Colony property at all times even in the off- season.

A valid guest badge required for anyone 4 years and older in order to use any of the recreational facilities and amenities. This includes the beach, pools, tennis courts, Edgewater exercise room, Freeman Fitness Center and the transportation system. Be ready to display your badge as required. Parking pass must be visible on the dashboard.

Our family of three (plus one friend for our 11 year old son) enjoyed all that this home had to offer! The ease of checking in set the tone for our overall experience. This rental is conveniently located near so many great family-focused amenities, from the pickleball courts within sight to the tram stop providing access to the beach and pools. The home itself was beautifully updated/appointed and equipped with everything we needed for the week. I personally thoroughly enjoyed the deck, with serene view of the small lake right outside the back door. We rented bicycles for the week from the store at the entrance to Sea Colony and were able to easily bike into Bethany Beach. We also used the pickleball courts at least once every day. This was our first visit to Bethany, but certainly won’t be our last!

We returned to this rental after a fantastic experience with our stay last summer! The size of the rental, location, and the new feel with everything being updated made our choice easy to return. The keypad entry is great to not have to worry about forgetting keys as you’re out and about. You get a picturesque view of the lake while eating your breakfast every morning! One of the pools is within a short walking distance for small kids, along with a couple others a very short drive or just by taking the sea colony trolley. You can’t go wrong with this property for a family of 3-4!

I have never been to Bethany Beach or Sea Colony and wasn’t sure what to expect. The location of this property I found ideal. Very removed from the chaos but close to all necessities. It was nicely decorated and came with anything you would need, including washer and dryer. Amenities were great with 12 pools, tennis courts, pickle courts, restaurants on site (we didn’t eat at so can’t weigh in), Trams / buses that bring you to and from beach. All common areas were very cleaned and well kept. My only complaint (which has no reflection on the owner and should only be as an FYI) the checkin staff are quite rude, not helpful and very incompetent. A couple of examples - they couldn’t locate the unit number. Even though I pointed it out several times. Once that hurdle was crossed, simple questions about the area couldn’t be answered and instead I was directed to the website. Events on the website they also had no knowledge of and directed me to the website. Basically just be prepared - this heads up should alleviate any check-in frustrations! And the interaction is so brief it shouldn’t deter you from staying. Overall would definitely recommend! Property owner was super responsive and very pleasant to deal with.
