Beautifully maintained home with all you need for a getaway in the mountains! Perfect location for skiing, hiking, mountain biking, exploring Truckee or simply staying home and enjoying the peace and quiet. Walking distance to the lifts at Tahoe-Donner and a short drive to all the Tahoe resorts. Ten minute drive into Truckee.

Place sleeps 6 comfortably. Master bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a twin and full and the loft features a wide daybed. Second bedroom closet has a playpen and sleeping pad for additional sleeping. Brand new bedding, towels and kitchen essentials.

Guest access to clubhouse with outdoor pool, indoor spa, sauna, foosball, pool and ping pong.
Guests come to enjoy the region for winter sport & Snow. With snow it is important to be safe. Here are a few tips:

Clean and great location!

This is a nice and spacious unit, with 4 levels, at Tahoe Donner. Everything was as depicted in the photos. The unit has a good view from the lower level. Appliances and heating worked well. The host was very responsive and accommodating when dealing with one issue that came up. Self check-in was straightforward; I easily found the unit based on the instructions and accessed a lockbox to retrieve a physical key. However, a few things were less than optimal. First, the cleaning seemed to be minimal; the carpet had been vacuumed, but otherwise things were not very clean. When I first entered there was a noticeable dog smell, though pets are not allowed. Various things such as the interior of the refrigerator, drawers in the kitchen and bedrooms, etc. looked like they had not been cleaned in quite a while. The towels in the master bathroom were not clean; though I later found a clean set in the dryer. Second, the path leading to the unit doesn't seem to be as well maintained as for other units at Tahoe Donner. Even in May, there was a large mound of snow blocking about 2/3 of the path. Third, the blinds in the bedrooms don't seem to close fully (they seem to be about 6-12 inches too short for the windows). Fourth, I didn't find the futon seating for the TV room all that comfortable (whereas on the lower level the couch is quite comfortable, however unlike most of the Tahoe Donner units, there is no TV on the lower level, just a large mirror above the fireplace).

The townhouse was perfect for our family of four. Everyone loved the arcade table that was used everyday. The charging stations in every room was very much appreciated! The house could use some updating and some additional kitchen items (utensils, small pots), but for the price and location it was just what we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Home was in a good location. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The kids enjoyed playing in the snow right outside the door. Our only suggestion would be to have additional utensils and cookware in the kitchen. With 6 people we constantly ran out of utensils to eat and didn't have enough pans to cook everything at once

We spent many winter vacations in the area, and Melissa’s condo did not disappoint. It was very clean and the listing was accurate. If you are looking for a condo close to the slopes and have a larger party (we are a family of 6, including teenagers), this condo is awesome.

Stayed one night. The size of the condo was good and accommodated our family of five. Sleeping arrangement was good. Kitchen amenities were okay. Getting in and out of the condo was my only issue as the paths are not well maintained during the winter months. Caution is necessary and they are covered in ice.

The property was really nice and owner was really quick with communications. But, not necessarily the fault of the owner, their washing machine broke shortly before our arrival which was a key feature we were looking for when making the reservation. Resulted in a lost afternoon with hours at the laundromat. A new washer is expected next week so hopefully not a problem for the next person. Missing towels and no coffee provided was also a disappointment, but towels were dropped off a couple hours later and the owner did provide a small discount. Still not worth the nearly $500 we paid (even after the discount) for the one night we stayed there.

Our family loved it here! We had a perfect view of the sunrise every morning & enjoying smelling that fresh mountain air. Although it was summer right next to the ski lodge, we had the best time exploring the trails just a quick drive away. Glacier Way Trailhead 24 was breathtaking & Donner Lake was less than 10 mins down the hill. The condo has quite a few stairs so be prepared! I would also recommend bringing your favorite egg pan as theirs needs replacing. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

This was a great base for my adult daughter and I for a couple of days of skiing at Tahoe Donner and environs--one day of spring skiing on closing day of the resort, and then a great day of touring in six inches of cold non-Sierra Cement. Access was a challenge due to the immense snowpack, but we figured it out. Access to the lifts couldn't have been any easier. Looking forward to a return next year.

We had a great one night stay in this beautiful condo. Location is wonderful - easy walking distance to the ski resort. The condo is nicely appointed and spread out over ~4 floors (living/dining room and kitchen on 1st floor, 1st bed/bath/laundry on 2nd floor, TV loft on 3rd floor with comfy futon, and 2nd bed/bath on 4th floor). There were great views from every room, and we particularly enjoyed sitting at the dining table with a 270 degree view of the surrounding mountains. We didn't cook, so can't really speak to how well stocked the kitchen was (coffee maker worked!). There's a ton of snow up there right now, so we had a little trouble finding the unit when we arrived (path the instructions told us to turn left onto was snowed in) and getting to the front door (the alternate path that was cleared was slick and steep in areas - something to think about if you're visiting in a high-snow time like we did and have individuals with impaired mobility in your group). Would definitely stay here again!

I will caution, arriving at night during winter with several feet of snow on the ground… this place is hard to find and hard to get to. Even with the helpful instructions from the owner, it was a trek to get to and hard to bring luggage in in the snow. In summer? I bet zero issues. Regardless, it was a spacious place with everything we needed, plenty of options for those staying to spread our. Having the mud room in such snowy conditions was absolutely amazing. We didn’t have to trek in the ice and could dump all the gear before entering. There was a helpful binder with all the bits that need to be known about the property, a great go to for figuring out the heating, etc. There were extra towels and bedding, toiletries on hand, we had everything needed for our short stay. As others have said, if you have mobility issues this will not be a good fit. Other than that, fantastic.

We really enjoyed our stay, the condo has everything that a family would need, it is cozy and comfortable with great views. My kids especially appreciated the popcorn and the hot cocoa, the little touches make all the difference. Kitchen is well equipped if you decide to cook at the house. My family loved our stay at this property. The furnishings are modern yet cozy. Lots of windows to enjoy the views. The beds were super comfy and the sheets were in excellent condition. The carpet is in good enough condition that I allowed my kids to walk around without slippers or socks. I usually clean their feet before bed and they were still clean! Bathrooms were very clean. Although the towels were dark grey (I prefer white towels when staying at hotels/rentals), they seemed fairly new. There are numerous sources of heat throughout the house - no cold spots! My 4yo very much appreciated all the toys at hand. Parking is close and easy. It was so easy to walk to the Donner Downhill Ski Resort, which was very convenient when I forgot something and had to go back. We would be more than happy to stay here again!

We were in Truckee for a wedding and found this location about 15 min from the venue. It was perfect for our family and baby. Lots of room to enjoy one another and lots of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. Be mindful if you arrive at night it is dark with minimal lighting so pay attention to the directions on the listing! Overall beautiful home and would definitely stay again😃

we stayed here for a few days in late august. the unit was in a great location and had amazing space for our family of four. it was also superbly stocked, which made it easy to settle in without an expensive shop. the unit also includes access to a pool and games area which the kids loved. overall, a wonderful and large townhouse.

They really thought of everything! Nice charging stations everywhere, place has a mudroom, kitchen has everything you need, gorgeous view. Even a nice work corner for me to set up my laptop and work remotely. Only caveat I would say is that there are a LOT of stairs - it is a walk up second floor unit, and the unit is vertical - entry level is kitchen/dining, then up a half flight to one bed and bath, then up another half flight to a living/TV room, and another half flight to a bed and bath. This is a great feature - it let everyone feel like they had some privacy, almost a floor to themselves. But if there is anyone mobility limited, or even just in bad shape, this might not be great for them. We loved the place in the summer - a little far from town/lake, but if you ski, it is walking to Donner!

We rented the condo for a girls getaway and the convenience of early morning hikes in the area. Condo was clean and as advertised, and we had a great time. One person had trouble falling asleep because a family in a nearby condo had windows open and were shouting at 11 pm, so it is close quarters with other units. Note that there are supposed to be quiet hours, and it probably isn’t a problem in the winter when windows are closed.

All in all, a very nice stay. The condo is well appointed, it is very clean, and the owner helpful. That said, prospective renters might be interested to know that the complex is located on a hill and requires climbing a steep stairway for entry. Once inside, the unit is situated on four separate levels...definitely not for those with mobility issues.

This amazing home is above and beyond expectations, and above and beyond any cabin we have stayed in! I appreciate the nightlights, chargers, and wonderful amenities throughout the home! The linens and towels are brand new and plentiful. And, oh the fireplace! It heats all 4 floors! And the home itself is beautiful and well loved! The scenery is breathtaking. The area is quiet, and lovely, too, and so close to a beautiful lake and historic town. Thank you so much!
