This secluded location allows you to enjoy the nature surrounding The Smoky Mountains, yet leaves you less than 25 minutes to all major attractions. Located in scenic Wears Valley, you can be exploring The Smoky Mountains within minutes due to close park entrances. Enjoy the quiet and peaceful sounds of nature while being close to all the action!

Important Information:
• The roads are paved all the way to the driveway. The road can be steep but easily maintainable in a small car. Possible winter conditions may affect driveability.
• The driveway is semi-steep and may scrape the bottom of your car, use caution when pulling in/out.
• The cabin is located in the woods and is maintained weekly by a certified termite/pest company. However, you may see bugs or critters (i.e. spiders, ants, bees, mice, millipedes, bears, snakes, etc.).
• There is a set of stairs to access the cabin.
• Always dispose trash in the bear proof container located on the ground level.
• Do not put trash in an unlined can.
The cabin will come with a starter set of disposable items, including toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tablets, washer pods, liquid soap, and garbage bags. You may need to buy more.
The cabin and surrounding cabins in the neighborhood share a well. The well is the water source for multiple cabins. There is a chance the cabin could lose water temporarily if the well runs low. Being on a well, the water is completely safe, but could have a discoloration or sediment to it, if the well starts to run dry. This could affect the hot tub potentially.

This cabin is in a great location for The GSMNP. 5 minutes to one of the entrances. Its also centrally located between Townsend and Pigeon Forge making it easy to get to either town. It's a nice property, although a little smaller at 1000 sf. Bathroom showers are little smaller but clean. Has a nice larger gas grill. The hot tub is also newer and was serviced while we were there so the water was sanitized properly. Only negative is that there were two cabins on the hill above this cabin which diminished our privacy. There are numerous trees on the hillside between the cabins which would probably provide better seclusion from these other cabins but we were there in the winter and the trees were bare as the leaves had already fallen off. Would stay here again if we come back to this area in the future.

I loved this cabin so much! I booked this for a solo trip to the mountains and it was so conveniently located near all the places you want to visit. Just 11 miles from Cades Cove and a short drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. You have several restaurants and gas stations within a few miles but still secluded in the woods so you can escape and unwind. I look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you for providing such a beautiful home for me to stay in. Everything was clean and I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay.

Enjoyed our stay at Fox Fire cabin. When we got there, I messed up the door lock code. I messaged Alex, and he immediately called me, explained the process and got us in. After that, no issues. Cabin was as advertised, clean, with every amenity we needed. Thanks for everything.
