We welcome you to our new vacation rental, “Höhlenblick.”
How about a short stay?
We cordially invite you to spend a few days in our beautiful vacation rental (60 m², non-smoking) with a view of the Balver Cave.
The Balver Cave is a karst cave located in the Hönne Valley near Balve in North Rhine-Westphalia that is used for cultural events. According to the well-documented archaeological findings, the cave is one of the most important sites of Middle Paleolithic cultures in Europe (hence the name “Cultural Cave”)
.
Our vacation rental “Höhlenblick” was newly renovated in 2020.
There’s room here for three people to relax!
The apartment is located at the end of a cul-de-sac with a view of the Balver Cave.
A parking space is available right outside the front door.
Right from here, you can set out on your activities or simply spend a few quiet days in the vacation rental. Or indulge in your favorite sports—whether hiking, running, tennis, horseback riding, swimming, scuba diving, surfing, or golf—you’ll find plenty of options here, both familiar and new.
A wide variety of hiking and biking trails are available right on your doorstep.
Lake Sorpe, the deepest reservoir in the Sauerland, with a dam 69 meters high and a total storage capacity of 70 million cubic meters, is just 9 kilometers away.
The charming Sauerland region offers all this and much more even in winter, with its snow-covered areas such as Wilde Wiese (Sundern), Winterberg, or the Bödefeld ski resort in Schmallenberg.
Our vacation rental features a bedroom with a double bed (180x200) and, if needed, a travel crib for children. Bedding is included.
The living room is equipped with a new 55-inch LED TV with Netflix and a spacious couch.
The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic cooktop, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle, and a toaster, as well as all necessary kitchen utensils. A small supply of dishwasher tablets, salt, sugar, and pepper is provided for your use.
A high chair is also available.
The bathroom features a shower, a heated towel rack, and a hair dryer. Towels are also included.
The entire apartment is equipped with central heating.
In the summer, the 8-square-meter terrace is perfect for cozy barbecue evenings.
A grill, garden chairs, and a table are provided.
The apartment has Wi-Fi!
Pets are allowed only by prior arrangement for a flat fee of 15€ per pet per day!
The apartment is perfect for cyclists, hikers, family vacations, and anyone who just wants to relax!

Die Ferienwohnung war so wie beschrieben. Die Vermieter sehr nett. Sie haben sich direkt um alles gekümmert.

Wir haben mit unserer Hündin vier erholsame Tage in der schönen Ferienwohnung verbracht. Es fehlte an nichts. Alles da was man braucht. Sehr nette Vermieter. Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. Sehr ruhig und die Wanderwege sind praktisch vor der Tür. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir haben eine sehr saubere und gepflegte Wohnung vorgefunden. Am Ende einer Straße, also perfekte Erholung. Es war alles vorhanden, was man in einer Ferienwohnung erwartet. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse wurde von uns oft genutzt, da das Wetter mitgespielt hat. Die Umgebung ist wundervoll zum wandern oder Fahrrad fahren. Die Vermieter haben uns herzlich empfangen und standen bei allen Fragen zur Umgebung zur Verfügung. Wir kommen 100% wieder und können diese Wohnung absolut weiterempfehlen. Danke Familie Kohl
