About this apartment rental
Our vacation rental, “Zum rost’gen Potte III,” is ideally located in Quedlinburg’s Old Town between Münzenberg and Schloßberg—from here, it’s just a stone’s throw to most of Quedlinburg’s sights! The apartment has been freshly renovated and is furnished in a modern style—a box-spring bed, a modern kitchen, a living room suite, a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi leave nothing to be desired!
Although our vacation rental “Zum rost’gen Potte” is a genuine historic landmark, it’s still modernly furnished and was freshly renovated in 2021. In the bedroom, you can relax on a wide box-spring bed—and conveniently store your luggage in the separate closet. In the living room, a modern pull-out sofa awaits you—enjoy your evening with a good glass of wine and a book, or have a cozy night in front of our flat-screen TV! If needed, the sofa bed can also be converted into a second sleeping area approximately 1.40 m wide. There’s also a separate dining area in the living room. The modern kitchen is equipped with a stove with a ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, electric kettle, coffee maker, and toaster. The bathroom features a shower, sink, and toilet. The vacation rental offers free Wi-Fi. Bicycles can be parked safely under cover in the courtyard passageway.
Our vacation rental is located in a wonderful historic setting between Münzenberg and Schloßberg in Quedlinburg’s Old Town: In less than a 5-minute walk, you can reach either the cathedral, city hall, historic city center, churches, or several supermarkets!
The World Heritage city of Quedlinburg is a must-see on any Harz vacation. With so many attractions in the city and the surrounding area, a few days are simply not enough to see it all. But this is also a great base for exploring the region: Located right off the A36, you can reach the city centers of Wernigerode in about 20 minutes, Blankenburg, Thale, or the Teufelsmauer in about 10 minutes; Aschersleben is 20 minutes away, and Goslar is about 40 minutes away. Of course, you can quickly reach the Harz Mountains from here—the Rappbode Dam, Harzdrenalin, or Hasselfelde are all less than half an hour away. Tip: From our vacation rental, you can reach nearly all of Quedlinburg’s historic sights on foot within 5 minutes! And after a busy day, you can wind down the evening at a good restaurant or a lively pub and then practically fall right into bed...

Eine nette kleine Wohnung, die (fast) alles bietet, was mancht braucht, allerdings auch kaum mehr. Sehr gefallen hat uns die Sauberkeit, die Übergabe hat sehr gut geklappt, ein Parkplatz am Haus gab es nicht, aber in der nächsten Seitenstraße sind immer Parkplätze vorhanden (zum auspacken kann man kurz direkt vor der Türe halten). Entfernung zum Markplatz knapp 5 min. Wir hatten jedenfalls einen schönen Urlaub und können die Wohnung empfehlen, allerdings ist die Treppe hoch zur Wohnung sehr steil, für gehbehinderte Menschen nicht geeignet.

Die Lage ist optimal zum erkunden von Quedlinburg. Fünf Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Markt. Die Übergabe der Schlüssel und der Empfang in der Wohnung hat nach telefonischer Rücksprache bei der guten Seele des Objektes gut funktioniert.
Wir wohnten im ersten Stock, dahin führte eine ziemlich schmale Treppe hinauf.
Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war okay, alles ziemlich neu und modern und intakt. Vielleicht noch ein paar kleine Sachen zusätzlich wären schön (kleine Brettchen, Teekanne, Fön). Das WLAN war streckenweise etwas schwachbrüstig, vor allem in der Stube.
Dass wir den Parkplatz bekommen konnten war toll. Dafür muss man zwar um das Karree herumlaufen, aber dafür ist er in einem abgeschlossenen Hof.
Wir haben uns bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr wohlgefühlt und gefreut, dass der Weihnachtsmarkt geöffnet hatte.
Alles in allem ist Quedlinburg auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.

Schöne, kleine Wohnung. Ansprechend eingerichtet, sehr sauber und alles da, was man braucht. Sogar ein Geschirrspüler, was wirklich sehr praktisch ist.
Die Lage ist direkt in der Altstadt, man kan alles gut zu Fuß erreichen.
