Check in was very easy! The space worked very well for our family of 8 and we enjoyed cooking meals, eating & playing games together at the large table, and making memories! It is a very clean and safe space. We did discover we not have adequate supplies such as trash sacks and dish/hand soap (small amount and watered down) but after contacting Jennifer she brought some to the cabin. Access to the lake was not as simple as “right across the street” as listed but we were still able to rent a boat from Lilley’s Landing and enjoy fishing. The grill and supplies at the cabin was perfect for grilling our caught trout. Hollister is a great area to stay in and we will definitely add this property to our list of future stays.

This cabin was perfect! Close enough to Branson that everything was about 15 minutes away but secluded enough you really felt like you were at a cabin. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable stay near Branson.

Our trip had a rough start. I didn’t realize that we weren’t sent any instructions on how to get into the cabin until shortly before we arrived. I should have double checked beforehand, but I’m a busy mom of 3 little kids and have never had this issue with any of the (many) VRBO listings we’ve stayed in. There was no contact information. Nobody to call. I messaged the property management company through VRBO. No response (and still none as of 4 days later). Since there was no contact information provided, I googled the property management company to find a phone number. When I called, all i got was a message stating that they were closed. With 3 little kids exhausted after a day at silver dollar city losing their minds, I had to create an account for the property management website, login, and get details there. Thank God i thought of that. Finally I saw that the door passcode was supposed to be the last 4 digits of my phone number. Strike 2. Didn’t work. I finally found a number to call on their website. The nice lady reset the code and we were in. The cabin itself is very cute. Plenty of space for our family of 5. The bedroom setup is great. The master is on the main floor, so our kids had the whole 2nd story to themselves. The backyard was nice for roasting marshmallows. It sits right next to a couple of run down trailer homes, so the scenery wasn’t necessarily the best. The bedroom with a toddler bed is in need of door repair. We put our 2 year old to sleep the first night with no problem. The next day we woke up to scared cries. I ran upstairs to discover that her door was lodged shut and she couldn’t get out. I yelled for my husband to help. Luckily, after 5 panic stricken minutes, he was able to push the bottom piece of the door that was falling out and blocking it from opening back up. He had to tape the bottom so we didn’t have it happen again. Overall, a nice stay, but we had some pretty significant problems.
