This beautiful waterfront home has sprawling gardens and plenty of space to ensure your private escape from the city. Half of the home is the beautifully maintained historic original, and the other is a later addition. Spend your days relaxing by the water or on the giant deck, or, if it's raining, the reading room has tin roof that makes a beautiful peaceful sound.
The Space:
Do you need a great space to work remotely? This home has a private office space and 3 desks throughout for working, with great, reliable wifi!
Our home is located on a quiet, dead end street, and the property has wonderful privacy for a restful retreat. Note there is no beach or dock for swimming, and the shoreline is quite grassy/marshy. The property itself is well landscaped and perfect for lawn games or having a snooze on the hammock.
Order in, cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen, or take a quick 25 minute drive to downtown Ottawa where you can enjoy countless restaurants and activities! In just a short 20 minute drive you can reach Gatineau Park or Le Nordik Spa, and spend the day either hiking or relaxing!

We had a lovely stay here! We wish we had better weather to enjoy morning coffee on the porch overlooking the river more. We had some big rainstorms and cooler temps for most of our stay. We had plenty of space to spread out in this nicely remodeled farmhouse. Some of the doors seem to be originals so they are tricky to open, but they add to the charm of the property. There are many beautiful plants and flowers around the property. We enjoyed the groundhog visiting in the yard and seeing the muskrats (?) swim around in the river. The kitchen had everything we needed and the washer and dryer was great to have. The heated bathroom floors were a fun surprise! I’d recommend this home to anyone!

This was an amazing property! We would definitely stay here again. Well kept and clean and very easy to check in. Property manager was very responsive on any questions. The property itself is great with lots of room and amazing views. Would highly recommend!
