The beautiful style, setting and facilities made this idyllic haven a perfect place to spend a long family weekend together.

There is absolutely nothing big to like about the property.

The size and location

Was a bit expensive for what it was

Beautiful house, good kitchen facilities, good bathrooms, comfy beds, lots of space, well maintained. Off street parking. Easy walk into town centre.

Was all very nice. I couldn't find all the bins, but that wasn't really a problem.

Communication with host via message, the number on the initial information was wrong, then the number on the booking.com was correct. Messaged when leaving to share about items that were not working i.e. the bottom oven did not heat up, the tea pot was cracked and leaking. There had been rubbish left in the kitchen bin and shower gel in the downstairs bathroom as if someone had stayed there and it had not been cleaned up. All the beds appeared clean though. What is most frustrating is that there has been no response to this message. It was not a complaint just for awareness, I feel it is polite just to acknowledge a message from your guests. I certainly would being a host myself. There is also only 4 seats in the kitchen at the breakfast bar and no other place to sit and eat, there is a folding dining table but no chairs.
