The grounds it’s a proper chateau old quite dark in some places but what you expect,it’s not the chickens that wake you up it’s the peacocks

Perfect stop to break up the journey from Milan to the Loire Valley, especially as it is only 2 kilometres from the motorway, allowing you to sleep in the peaceful setting of a château room, with a large park, the orangery, etc.; an oasis of calm, interrupted only by the gentle sounds of nature. Truly refreshing.
The host, although with some difficulty in English, was more than kind and contributed to what was a relaxing experience worth repeating.
