We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Folegandros and can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, Artemis and Katerina made us feel completely at home — they were warm, friendly, and genuinely hospitable, always ready to help and make sure we had everything we needed. Their kindness really set the tone for the whole trip. Every morning we were treated to a lovely homemade breakfast, which was a real highlight and a great way to start the day. The hotel is ideally located within easy walking distance of Chora, so getting into town was effortless, and the views from the property were absolutely stunning. The rooms were spotless and incredibly comfortable — the beds, the linens, and even the towels were all top quality. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing place to rest after exploring the island. If you're planning a trip to Folegandros, this is the place to stay. We'll definitely be back, and we recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting this beautiful island. Thank you, Artemis and Katerina, for everything!

The property is a beautiful setting and kept immaculate. It’s the perfect distance and a very easy/ beautiful walk to Chora via road or trail. Agali beach is also a quick 10 min drive. Avaton is owned and operated by a mother daughter duo who couldn’t be nicer. We had a great time getting to know them and they were extremely helpful and made our stay extra special!

Absolutely superb. Sorry we only stayed for 3 nights. The quality of finish poolside and in the rooms is top class. The staff were so welcoming and attentive and could not be more helpful.

It’s a short walk into Chora but this actually is a major plus. There’s very little light pollution at Avaton so the stargazing is incredible. We stayed in 6 properties in our Greek island trip and this was the best by far.
