Waterfront Galore

The house was very spacious and clean! We all had our privacy if wanted! It was right on the water so sitting on the deck was nice and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again!

We could not fish in the pond at our house. The washing machine broke, so I called and someone was supposed to come look at/ repair it but nobody ever came so we couldn’t use it.

This is an excellent property, very clean, and great location very near the beaches. The reason all the questions are not rated very highly because of some issues I believed could have been resolved if housekeeping or maintenance would have taken a little extra time to check the following items listed: 1) Most remotes for TV did not work. I called and Barbett, host, came over with new remotes in about 40 minutes. Thank you for prompt response. Still we never found the remote for the TV in the upstairs loft area. 2) There was no bedspread/comforter on the king side bed. Don't know what happen to it. Barbett again came to the rescue and had a queen size located in her vehicle and dropped a King size comforter off the next day. Thank you. 3) Several ceiling lights were out in the house which made the house look dark especially at night. I called again but since it was on the eve of holiday no response that day. On July 5, Kenneth from Maintenance brought light bulbs over on Saturday and replaced all he could. We were leaving the next day. The ceiling light in the upstairs bunk bedroom never worked. Maintenance informed there was a problem with the light switch. There was a lamp light in the room but not very bright. Again the room looked dark. 5) The chair bed mattress in the loft was unsanitary--large pee stain. The mattress definitely needs to be replaced. I did not feel comfortable letting my niece sleep on it. A few other things I recommend for this property to be highly valued as an airbnb: purchase dish detergent that actually works and cut grease, more toilet tissue needed in bathrooms, and add laundry detergent. There is a washer and dryer but not detergent. I also recommend washing the side of the house down outside where you drive up. First impression when you drive up speaks for everything. With a little updates and changes this home would be highly recommended.
