Charm, location to beaches and Mont St Michel

Ausstattung durchschnittlich, schlechtes WLAN, TV nur über Internet nutzbar, die ganze Wohnung ist ein offener großer Raum, alle Schlafplätze offen einsehbar, Kleines WC unter der Treppe, kleines Bad daneben

The place has very nice decoration. Just for info - the place is 30km drive to St. Michaels Mount. The direct distance is smaller. There is a couple of minutes walk where you can see the castle from distance. Nice view.

My main objection to this place is about the dishonesty of owners towards clients. There did not work heating. As owners said this problem is already for 2 weeks when outside is just few degrees ( beginning of April). The two small provided electric heaters could not warm up this big place with high ceilings and atrium. It would have been honest to inform us of the problem and then it would be our decision to stay or not in this place. Besides that there were many issues: 1) the first thing what you see after entering the yard is an open storage of everything what's left of countryside life 2) the towels stink when they get wet 3) the bed for adults squeak 4) the floor on the second floor also squeak, so in case there someone sleeps ( open space with many beds) it is not possible to walk quietly 5) internet worked badly ( later we got some devise that helped a little) 6) if there are many people and you have to cook, it is not convenient 7) there was only used common soap !!! in the bathroom not a shower gel 8) the cupboard for glasses and plates has bad smell 9) there is not sign on the road that there is a gite 10) unfortunately owners English is even not a basic 11) the yard is not very well kept 12) the guests house is just a couple of meters from owners house, so you just see the wall outside the window 13) owners asked us by message when we will leave. I think if there is check out time, it is just up to us. The place isn't bad just many small things to be fixed and general attitude problem as the money for the reservation was taken 1 month before arrival.
