The owner is charming… the place is clean… the breakfast excellent. The word ”autrefois “ describes perfectly the decor and the atmosphere of the whole place. Back to the future!
Bath room and toilet are not private but located in the corridor. We were fine being the only guests on this floor. We have had two medium size towels only.

Nice museum-like interior. Welcome was warm.
There was a bit of an argument over check-out. (I went for a stroll in the village at 9:30, and when I came back at 11:00, the landlady had vacated my room and put my unpacked stuff in the halway.) Check-out seems to be at 10:00... On a Saturday? The bed was pretty, but small and hard. For one person, shared bathroom and without breakfast, I found the price quite high.

Absolutely loved our stay with Mme Yannick. Charming village, incredibly unique building and even home-made jam from her local allotment! Despite our minimal French, Mme Yannick was very welcoming and ensured we had the best time. The value for money is also superb
No negatives at all! We were at a wedding for the weekend so unfortunately didn't get to explore the picturesque Saint-Clar that much
