Kerry sent very clear additional directions which were a godsend! She was also available to answer every question we had, very quickly. The accomodation was lovely, the beds were super comfy. Everywhere was clean. The huge selection of games were a bonus. TV and WiFi were great. There is a lovely pub within walking distance and a great village shop en route to the pub. My husband, his two brothers, their wives and I had a wonderful relaxing time. We spent almost all week in the house and had enough space to split off if we wanted to and large enough areas to all sit comfortably together. We are seriously thinking of booking here again for future family gatherings.

There were a couple of niggles, we would have liked more mugs and crockery as we found we were having to use the dishwasher more than once daily, although that was because we ate almost every meal at the house and there were six of us. The other niggle was the shower in the ground floor bathroom was a bit tricky to use as the hose was mounted on one wall and the shower unit was mounted on another wall meaning that the hose cut across the available showering space...being short I did keep catching myself on it, but honestly neither of these things would stop us from booking The Vale again.
