A beautiful home, a former water mill, in a beautiful location, spotlessly clean and filled with wonderful artworks. I was welcomed by the host who sent me directly to the river to plunge and cool down before showering in the house. The host provided supper for me, as I was too tired to face the walk back down to the village pub/restaurant (which looked good). I have to say it was possibly the best sandwich I’ve ever had (no exaggeration) and I slept solidly in a small but comfortable room, with the sound of the water rushing through beneath me. An excellent breakfast before the host went out of his way to help me organise onward transport.
Nothing. Might be best for people with transport.
