We had an excellent stay in a lovely cottage.

The bed linen, pillows and the bed were all excellent, the size of the cottage was excellent. The small gift of groceries the first day was a nice touch. The local shops and pubs were all excellent, the people in the village were all friendly. The walk to Uppermill along the canal was superb.

The hot tub didn't work when we arrived and it took the best part of our stay until it was fixed, i realize that's out of the owners control, but it was disappointing. The BBQ didn't have any tools, this host did drop new BBQ tools off but it did take a couple of days. We used the kitchen to cook some meals, the kitchen pans could be better quality. The coffee pot was difficult to use for a group, a french press or drip carafe would have been much better.

Beyond our expectations, so much better than the photos!!

The most beautiful house I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The facilities were all top notch, the welcoming hamper, the fact Tesco was right around the corner. I couldn't recommend this house any more. Perfect for a group of friends or families and the pricing is exceptional for what you receive. Both the double beds were larger than kings with the comfiest possible mattresses and pillows, those of us who used the singles said the same of the comfort and quality, bathrooms as well were spotless and beyond luxurious. The jacuzzi was cleaned once during the middle of our stay, this is when we got to meet the manager of the property Steph, a lovely lady who made us all feel extremely welcomed even when hungover 😅 The fire pit was also perfect for the evenings and the instructions for use were spot on, everything was explained easily and clearly in the welcoming sheet left for us on the kitchen counter. Overall I would recommend this house more than a 100%!

Absolutely perfect!

Lower Arthur’s was totally amazing. every room was spotlessly clean finished to the highest standard. The garden was so lovely equipped with everything you could need and much more. Gorgeous hot tub and fire pit perfect for our hot sunny weekend stay.

Loved everything about it. There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like.

Property was very warm. we had to turn the thermostat down several times as the heating has a schedule and kept changing back...at some points it was set as high as 29 degrees.

Exceptional

Absolutely amazing property, great stay from start to finish, fantastic facilities, luxurious yet still comfortable and cozy. I stayed with my 7 month old baby and 2 dogs and it was perfect. The location was ideal aswell, close to shops and pubs. Helen couldn't do enough for us and was lovely to meet her when she stopped by. All the produce in the little Hamper were delicious!! We will definitely stay again!! Matress was the comfiest I've slept in!
